No,

No,

No...

What the heck even is THAT color.

No.

Igneel's eyes scanned across the shelf, the rings enclosed behind the clear glass shimmering under the bright light.

He had been in that store for nearly an hour, trying to find a ring for a certain someone.

Dangit...

Igneel raised his eyes to the employee, "Why don't you guys have ANY nice rings? I could make a better ring with PLAY-DOH." He casually ran out of the store backwards, sticking his tongue out at the man.

-.-.-.

He walked past the stores, glancing in the windows every so often. His hands shoved into his pockets.

This is impossible.

Completely, utterly, impossible.

Is it honestly too much to ask for a god dang nice ring?

"Yeah. With my luck, of course." He answered himself aloud, letting out a brief sigh. He turned to one more store, pulled the door open, and let himself in.

He glanced around at the white shelves, glass cases, the jewelry and price tags.

Walking to one of the shelves, he peered down at the rings.

A ruby one, a clear crystal one, some gems he had never even seen before.

A silver ring with a blue sapphire caught his eye. The sapphire was a decent size, and it looked fine on the silver rim.

He grinned, looking down at the ring. 'Bout time.

-.-.-.

He gave the worker the jewels that the ring costed, which, unsurprisingly wasn't cheap. But hey, it's not like he saved up money for no reason. He smiled as he walked through the glass doors of the shop, snapping the lid of the case down.

He pushed it into his pocket, turning to find the exit.

-.-.-.

Igneel and Mira sat in front of the rainbow sakuras. It was cherry blossom season, And the trees were shining bright, beautiful rainbow colors.

The grass under them was dry, and decently long, the wind catching it as it blew.

Mira was going on nonstop about shippings, and Igneel? He had her voice almost completely toned out as he thought.

Should I do this?

I don't know...

Maybe...

Ah heck, you only live once.

He tugged on his white scarf as he thought, pulling the small, velvet red box from his pocket. He let go of his scarf, turning his focus back to the barmaid beside him. "Mira?"

"Yeah, Igneel?"

Igneel took her hand, and stood up, pulling her to her feet as well. His face went a scarlet shade as he held the box behind his back, hand in hand with the girl.

Igneel let her hand fall from his grasp, kneeling down onto one knee. "M-Mirajane Strauss..." His face going even darker, stuttering her name. "I have... A lot of fun with you... I really... Like you, you know..." Igneel swallowed, trying to straighten himself out. "Mirajane, I love you. I love you with all of my heart, more then anything." He brought his hand from behind his back, opening the red box, and taking out the ring. "Mirajane, will you... Marry me?"

He saw her cheeks go pink, her blue eyes wide. Everything was completely silent, except for the sound of the wind and their breathing.

...

"Yes... Igneel, yes." She finally choked out, throwing her arms around Igneel, pulling him into a hug.

Igneel hugged her back, silently cheering.

She moved back a step, holding out her hand to Igneel. He slid the sapphire ring on her finger, the gem gleaming under the bright rainbow sakuras.

"I love you, so much, Igneel."
