We go out to a party somewhere
The moment we walk in the door
People stop and everybody stares
She don't know what they're staring for

Lucas and Maya were going to their first high school party as a couple. Lucas was wearing his red flannel and Maya was wearing a red halter top with hip hugger jeans. They didn't plan to match, but they were glad they did. It made them look more like a couple, instead of just friends like they used to be in junior high.

The moment they walked in the door everyone was staring at them. Maya gave Lucas a weird look, but he knew exactly why the party had turned to watch them walk in, even the girls.

"You look beautiful. The whole party agrees." He whispered to her.

Maya scoffed. "Yeah, right. There are probably some seniors behind us."

Lucas rolled his eyes and followed her over to the refreshment table.

She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so

Lucas was walking Maya home from school when he heard some seniors whistle at her. He swung his arm around her and pulled her closer in case the jocks made a move, but Maya just rolled her eyes at the other boys.

"What are those jockstrap monkeys howling at? I don't see any cheer whores around."

Lucas chuckled. "It's you."

Maya started laughing. "Sure. Because I'm someone to fuss over." She said sarcastically as they walked away.

There she goes just walking down the street
And someone lets a whistle out
A girl like her she just can't see
What the fuss is all about

When they reached Maya's door Lucas leaned in for his goodnight kiss.

"Goodnight, Beautiful." He smiled.

Maya rolled her eyes. "Night Cowboy."

She closed the door and Lucas sighed then he started his walk home.

And she don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so

Morning comes and her hair's all a mess
That's when she thinks she looks her worst
It's times like this she don't know why
I can't take my eyes off her

Maya woke up and looked at her phone. She slept through her alarm again and was running late for school.

She ran out of her bedroom to the bathroom, but she smelled something and made a beeline for the kitchen.

"What smells so- Lucas?" She gasped trying to hide so he wouldn't see her messy hair and nighttime sweats.

He turned and smiled. "Hey, babe. You woke up late. Shawn made pancakes."

"Uh, yeah I know, I'll get some." Lucas kept staring and smiling at her. "Stop staring at me. I didn't brush my teeth or hair yet and I'm in sweatpants!"

He chuckled. "You look beautiful. I love your casual look." He shrugged. "Shortstack of pancakes?" He asked holding up a plate with a small stack of pancakes and some sausage patties.

"Are you kidding, because you're not funny. I look awful!" Maya groaned. "But I really want pancakes and don't have time to get ready if I eat them so just look away and let me eat!" She snapped grabbing the plate from him.

Lucas watched her quickly shovel food into her mouth with a smile on his face. "You look beautiful. Always."

'Cause she don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her

She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her
She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so

Lucas, Farkle, and Zay stood in the living room of Riley's apartment waiting for their prom dates to come out from Riley's room in their dresses.

Smackle came out first in a simple navy gown with her hair up in a loose elegant bun making Farkle's jaw drop.

"Wowza, dear. You look great."

"You clean up well, honey."

He gave her the corsage and grinned.

Riley came out next in a light pink gown with sparkles all over it and her hair in a classy up-do. "Hey Zay."

"Dang." Zay said with a smile. "Did I pick the right girl to ask or what?"

Riley giggled. "Thanks for asking me so I wouldn't be dateless to prom."

"What are friends for?" He smiled placing the corsage on her wrist.

Lucas watched with dazed eyes as he girlfriend walked out to her friends.

She was wearing a tight red dress that highlighted her curves and she had her hair curled down past her neck.

"Gonna give me my corsage Cowboy?" She said walking up to her boyfriend.

Lucas just stared at her, speechless.

"Earth to Huckleberry." Maya said waving her hand in front of his face. "Come in, Ranger Rick. Planet earth needs to talk to you pronto. Quit staring at me, Bucky McBoing Boing!"

Lucas shook his head a little. "I-I'm sorry, Maya. You look.. beautiful."

Maya rolled her eyes. "Whatever. We doing this thing or what? Time to go."

"Pictures first!" Cory yelled as Shawn grabbed his camera. "Say Prom Time!"

The girls turned and the boys put their arms around their dates.

"You're so beautiful." Lucas whispered into Maya's ear. "I love you, Maya."

Maya rolled her eyes right as Shawn snapped the picture. "Whatever you say. I love you too, Huckleberry."
