Chapter 5

In the morning,

Hyejin ignored Jungkook's presence but he isn't going to stop just like that.

Both of them are walking but not together in the corridor going to their respected classrooms. She keep glancing at the back thinking that Jungkook might be following her. She noticed that her class room is just five steps away and yet he's still following her while whistling, hands on his pocket who keeps shrugging his shoulder whenever she looks back at him and glared.

She made it clear last night but why is he still clinging onto her, she took a deep breath before facing him.

But before she could even say a thing, he walked past her so she called him.

"Yah! Are you gonna follow me up to my classroom?" She yelled and she scared the shit out of him making him flinch.

"You think I'm going to just ignore what you're doing?!"

He was about to say something, "Bu-"

"STOP FOLLOWING ME!"

And he grinned.

What? Did he find this funny? Is he insulting me?

He carefully pointed her supposedly classroom, "I am not following you, we are just going in the same place... this is also my class remember?"

Holy shit, tell me I didn't just embarassed myself infront of him!

She stood frozen and he smile cheekily at her cuteness.

How could you forget! Stupid!

"Don't worry, I don't remember you yelling at me and accusing me for following you. Scratch that, you didn't even see me today so.... we're good? Okay? Good." He said tapping her shoulder and head inside the class with a smirk plastered on his face and ofcourse she didn't see that.

Because she's busy scolding herself.

After that, she decided to go inside and cursed after realising that he's her sitmate. He was looking at her with a cheeky smile, legs crossed and playing with pen in his finger. He's enjoying the attention she's giving him.

Okay Hyejin, all you have to do is ignore him the entire class and after that you'll go home and will forget what you did today. Inhale, exhale ...

She sat next to him while he's is still staring at her. Why did she even have to be this cute?

The class started and she's too busy to participate than being destructed by a sleeping Jungkook. But she can't focus knowing that his face is faced towards her direction. She can't help but glance at him, I mean who can resist a sleeping angel?

"Stop staring and focus on your notes." He said still eyes closed. He heard a soft noise like someone was startled, she even dropped her pen. I knew it, who can resist this sleeping angel? He smirk.

The class went smoothly, after dismissal Hyejin decided to go home early to do her homework. She's looking at her phone while walking, reading the text of her friend Mirae saying to grab a coffee with her before going home. She thought for a moment and replied her a yes.

"So, how's your class. Did you saw him?" She asked talking about him. She's curious about him, he heard about his name and how popular he is at the moment but she haven't seen him yet.

"I didn't just saw him Mirae, we are actually in the same class and I'm still not used to it." She said still head hanging low her hands holding both straps of her bag.

"Him, being near you? Or him trying to hit on you... again?" Mirae asked. She noticed the changed of her mood, she smiled at the sight of her friend who's obviously hiding her feelings towards him. Based on Hyejin's story about him, he's a good guy and they shared lots of fun memories together last winter.... so even if he didn't show up for about a year she knows that feelings can't be erased that fast especially when that person made a big part in your heart from the very start. He is Hyejin's first love.

"Can we stop talking about him? It's making me feel uncomfortable." Hyejin said with a poker face.

Finally the reached the coffee shop, she ordered a caramel macchiato while her friend ordered an Iced Americano. They both talk about their homeworks and the upcoming Victory Ball to celebrate the victory of their school's varsities in football for winning the private school division competition for outdoor games.

"I heard that Chanyeol is coming!" Mirae exclaimed, the biggest fangirl of that captain ball.

"Ofcourse he is, the party is about them remember?" She rolled her eyes while sipping on her drink. She isn't interested at all, for her, those varsities are just in the same level as them. She didn't understand why girls are swooning over them especially him.

"You're such a party pooper you know? But hey seriously let's come together okay? I already bought a dress for both of us."

"Nah I'm good. I'd rather study." She lazily said.

"Oh c'mon, everyone will be there.. attendance is a must remember?"

Everyone? Means... Jungkook will be there too?

"I will not promise to come with you... but I guess I have to enjoy atleast for one night right?" She said not looking at her friend. Mirae raised her left brow, hmmm all of a sudden?

"So the party will be in 2 days... your make up is on me so all you have to do is to show up in my house, wear the dress I bought you, come with me to the party and have fun. Clear?" Mirae said with a grin. She has lots of gorgeous ideas about what to look for that party and the make up and hairstyle she will do for the both of them. "It would be so much fun aahhhh!" She clapped her hands excitedly.

While Hyejin just shook her head, massaging her temples. They said befriend a cheerful person, it would be fun they said. But why am I getting nervous all of a sudden?

"Oh- it's you..?" Soobin, her brother opened the door for her.

"Why? Are you expecting someone?" She asked while taking off her coat and boots and put it on the side. While Soobin didn't pay attention and just glanced outside to see if wether Jungkook is already outside. He said he will watch a football game with me at 5, why he isn't here yet.

"Ya! Where's mom?" She asked this time Soobin answered her.

"What do you expect? She's a busy person you know, you should get used to it by now" He said and she smack his head. "Aw!"

"Aish really, you ungrateful brat! Be thankful that Mom is working her ass real hard for us or else we would be homeless." She scolded but Soobin just shrugged his shoulder.

Minutes later they both here a knock on the door. Both of them stood up and stare blankly at each other...

It's Mom! She thought.

It's probably Jungkook hyung! Soobin thought.

They both run towards the door both excited to welcome the person who they thought it was.

This became a competition of who will reach the door first.

At the end she won since she's more petite than her brother, she's faster.

"MOMMMMM-........mom?"

"Hi"
