Sunfield

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't seem to get back to sleep. I put on one of Kevin's shirts and got on his laptop.
"Sunfield high school applications" I searched
I put in a mid year application. It didn't seem that hard. Now that I am 18 I don't really need to get my parents involved. I didn't want to tell Kevin, I kind of wanted to surprise him. The school I am going to is super fucking awful. I closed the computer and looked at Kevin sleeping. He was so peaceful and such a soft boy. I put his arm around me and fell back asleep.
I woke up to the sound of the shower. I sat up and Kevin wasn't in bed. I frantically searched for my phone in the sheets. It was 6:30, earlier than I normally wake up. I got up and headed to the bathroom. This time I actually brought my makeup and extra clothes. The bathroom was steamy and I couldn't see in the mirror. I grabbed his blow dryer and unfogged the mirror. Kevin got a little startled when I turned it on.
"Oh hi" he said loudly over all the noise.
"Good morning" I yelled back
"Good morning babe" he said casually. I kind of got a rush when he said that. I didn't know he did pet names. I did my makeup in his two person mirror. Kev got out of the shower right as I was done.
"I thought you would've joined me" he said while wiping off his face with a hand towel. He looked at me and smiled.
"Is that my shirt?" He asked in a happy tone.
"Um yeah, is that ok?"
"Yeah it looks cute on you!" He walked over to me putting his hands on my hips. I get on my tippy toes and kiss him. He grabs my face and pulls me back in.
He grabs a towel from the counter behinds me and wraps it around his waist. I run my fingers through his wet hair. I give him one more peck and walk out to get changed. 
"Can I wear this shirt to school?" I yell from the other room.
"Yeah of corse" he yells back.
I look at the clock and realize I still have an hour before we have to go. I lay back on his bed and put a YouTube video on his tv.
"What are you watching?" He said as he walked out.
"Bye sister" I said laughing.
He went to his drawer and put on khakis and a striped shirt.
"What are we gonna do for an hour" he said sarcastically. I giggled
"Why did you even wake up this early anyway?" I asked.
"So last times situation won't happen again... and so we can have some morning time"
"You really planned this out" I said in a laughing tone.
"Yeah well I gotta maximize our time together because we go to different schools"
I didn't respond, trying not to give it away.
He leaped into bed and held me from behind.
"This James Charles guy better not turn me gay" he said making fun.
"It's boring anyway" I said while pausing the tv and turning toward Kevin. We looked at each other for a while before he pulled me into his chest for a hug.
"I'm glad your here" he whispered.
"I'm glad I'm here too"
We almost fell asleep there but woke myself up.
"We can't be late again" I told him.
I got my bags and we left.

Later at the school office
"Hi, I wanted to switch schools at the semester mark. I was wondering who I should talk to about that?" I asked the secretary.
"Yeah, let me call up the councilor" she said as she picked up the phone. I sat there silently until she directed me to an office. 
"Hello, come sit"
"Hi, I want to switch schools" I said while I sat down.
"Oh ok, you want to get out of here huh" she asked
"Yeah, to Sunfield" I explained
"Ok, well I'm sad to see you leave but it's good timing because of the semester". She said while typing "why do you want to leave? Your almost graduating"
"It's a personal thing" I just didn't want to tell her.
"Ok, ok, so I will get it put in and you can come back tomorrow with your parents and we can go into detail" she looked up at me
"Umm now that I am 18 can't I do it without them?" I asked
"I guess... well come back tomorrow anyway"
"Ok thank you" I got up and went to class.
