Party Time

I looked away and acted like it was nothing.
"Are you ok? You squeezed me a little." Kevin talked into my eye because of the volume in the room.
"No I'm good" I responded. Kev grabbed my hand to pull me through the crowded, I grabbed Lexie with my other hand and she grabbed Jackson. All the other boys where off doing god knows what. I tried not to think about my ex, hopefully he didn't notice me. Also why was he in California! He broke up with me because he moved to Sacramento .
"Do you want a drink?" Kevin asked pulling off a solo cup from the stack.
"Yeah sure" I answered.
"Me too" Lexie butted in between us. I kept looking around for my ex. He must have left. I calmed down and had a drink.
"What kind of beer is this?" I asked Kevin.
"I don't know, the keg just says "beer" in sharpie" Kevin responded. I turned around because Lexie hasn't bothered me in a while. She was flirting the hell out of Jackson and, he was dishing it back. I patted Lexie on the shoulder, and we went to the backyard where it was a little more quite. I scanned over heads in the backyard and spotted Luke (my ex)
I acted like it was nothing. I didn't want him to ruin my night with Kevin. One of Kevin's friends waved at him from across the yard. We walked over there and I was feeling anxious with all the people and my ex.
"I am gonna go to the bathroom" I told kev as I walked away. I made my way through the crowded kitchen to the back bathroom. I looked in the mirror and took some deep breaths. I reached into my bag to grab some Xanax but I heard a nock on the door.
"I'm in here" I said loud enough that the person could hear me. I grabbed the bottle when someone opened the door. Luke shut the door behind him and smiled at me.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked angrily
"It's my buddies birthday so I came for the week" he responded.
"No what the fuck are you doing in the bathroom" I said more annoyed then before. I took to Xanax dry.
"You gotta get rid of that pill problem" he said in a concerned tone.
"I don't have a pill problem, you also didn't answer the question"
" I saw you came with someone and I didn't want to disturb you guys" he explained.
"So you came in the bathroom?" I asked again
"Yeah, sorry"
"I should go" I said moving him away from the door.
"Wait, while I am here we should make plans or something. I didn't know you moved" he Asked but I was already halfway down the hall. Kevin was in the kitchen looking around the crowd. I made my way to him and grabbed his hand.
"Do you mind if we left or something" I asked in an anxious tone.
"Yeah, is everything ok?" He guided me to a quiet room.
"Um yeah I don't want to take you away from this party I will just call an Uber" I said in embarrassment.
"No, no it's totally fine. What's wrong?" He sat me down.
"I'm just feeling... i don't know it's late" I didn't want to tell him I was feeling an attack coming.
"Well I will have to round up the boys. One second" he started for the door.
"Wait, I don't want you to do that. I don't want to ruin everyone's night" Lexie and Jackson walked in.
"Oops" Jackson said as he turned around.
Lexie looked at how I was shaking and demanded the boys out. I looked at Kevin with a reassuring look.
"It's ok" I told him. The boys left and Lexie sat next to me.
"What's wrong, have you taken your meds?" She asked.
"Yeah, Luke is here. He came into the bathroom when I was in there. I want to leave but I don't want to make everyone go with me." I told her.
"You go home, get some dick and I'll make sure all the boys are home safe. I'll be taking Jackson home if you know what I mean" she took the pills out of my bag. "One more for you and one for me"
"Thanks Lexie" I hugged her and she went into the hall to talk to the boys. Kevin came in and I was super embarrassed.
"I don't want to make a big deal out of this" I mumbled
"Yeah, totally. Well I will drop you off then"
"Ok, thank you" I gave him a big hug. I grabbed my bag and we got into his car. When we got to my house I didn't want to leave his car.
"Um do you want to come in?" I asked him.
"Do you want me to stay over?"
"The thing is you might have to sneak in" I told him.
"Nothing that I haven't done before" he responded.
"Well I'll go in talk to my mom, then you come around the side and get on the trash can." I told him laughing.
"Um ok hopefully I can manage"
I walked inside and my mother was lucky asleep. I went upstairs and waited for him by the window. I looked out the window and saw him trying to get on the trash cans. He looked up at me and ran his hand through his hair.
"I got this" he said in a laughing tone. He climbed onto the trash can and just about nocked it over. I was laughing so hard at his attempts to get up to my window. He finally got up and I grabbed his arm trying to pull him in. When he got in he slammed on my ground. We both were laughing hysterically but in a whispered type of way.
"My mom must be deaf if she didn't just hear that" I said laughing.
