Sheets

You said you couldn't sleep last night,

Because your sheets smelled like me

Sweet, like memories and soft kisses

I told you, I was tangled in my own

Because every time I closed my eyes

I saw you

What you don't know is it's so much more than that

I can feel you in my skin,

Every cell screams for your touch when I see you in the hallway

When you smile I feel my knees loose their grip

And the earth longs to take me into it's arms, cradle me and hold me

But no one's arms are more home to me than yours

I can feel you in the knots tied in my stomach,

In the sigh that escapes my lips at the though of you

The way your name moves off my tongue

My mouth so in harmony with you,

I am in your sheets,

I am in your bed,

You are in my heart my love,

You are in my head.
