Before realising what that man was trying to do, I reached the front door of the audition room.
"Go in and give a try." He smiled at me.
"But...I'm not ready...and why me?" My face turned pale as I never actually sing in front of people. And all of these were too sudden.
"Because I see something special in you," he paused, "I'll give you a minute, just calm yourself and do your best okay?" He got into the room right away, while I was at loss of words.
Alright. I'm gonna enjoy the days in Korea. Whatever audition it is, I'll just go and sing something, and leave. I'm not gonna be accepted anyway. Okay.
I reassured myself and stepped into the room.
3 men were sitting side by side, included the man who brought me here. He nodded his head, comforting me silently.
"Hi, please introduce yourself."
"My name is Raelyn Wang, I'm a Chinese from Malaysia, and I'm actually here to have an interview for the post of Graphic Designer..." I could see the judges were amused, yet wanted me to continue.
"Uhm...I speak Chinese, English, Malay, Cantonese and a little bit of Korean."
"Good, so which song are you singing today?" A guy who's around 25 years old, with blonde hair asked.
"Fancy, by Iggy Azalea."
I'm always into rappers, and I've wanted to try rap all the time, despite I'm not really good at it.
Soon I started to sing Verse 1 of Fancy and also Charlie XCX's part. To be frank, I was so nervous, I couldn't even think. Gladly I didn't forget the lyrics and I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"Wow that was good," blonde hair hot guy commented, "You don't look like you could rap, you're one sweet girl," he smirked.
"Oh...thank you..." I was flattered.
"You're different from the other female participants, can you dance by the way?"
"No, I can't," I laughed awkwardly, "If you could excuse me...I'm actually late for the interview."
"Well, what a shame, anyway please fill this form before you leave alright? We'll inform you the results soon."
I rushed to the interview spot right after I filled the form. Wow I can't believe I actually sang something impromptu, and even received compliments.
However, I failed the interview.
"I'm sorry but we're looking for someone who owns a degree."
That's what she said. Damn depressed I was when I heard this.
Another interview in FNC was one hour later, and I couldn't find the exit of the building which made me getting more and more anxious.
I wondered around the building and tried to read the signs but they were all in Hangul!
I should really ask someone about the direction as I was really in hurry.
Opening a door abruptly, I was totally astounded by the people standing before me.
There were seven of them, staring at me, paused what they were doing earlier.
"Oh my god," it's GOT7, "I'm sorry that I interrupt..."
"Hi, what can I help you?" It was Jackson who speaks the most fluent English. He didn't forget to smile and he successfully melted my heart.
"I...I was trying to find a way out and erm...you're really handsome oh god," I started speaking Chinese with him which I didn't know why I did that, he looked surprised and immediately replied with Chinese, "Wow so you're a Chinese? What's your name?"
"My name is Raelyn," I faced them and bowed, "Annyeonghaseyo, nice to meet you." I tried to say it in Korean, and they just started bowing at me too.
"Why are you here by the way?" I recognised him, it's JB! He could speak English well too!
"It was really dramatic, I was asked to join the audition when I was actually here for an interview of a job..." I explained to them the situation I was in.
"Hah it must be Ji Sung hyung who did this! He's like a star hunter, I was also invited by him to join JYP as a trainee three years ago in HK." Jackson started laughing, like how he usually did, that high pitch laugh.
"So you'd probably be our junior?" JB asked excitedly, I blushed all the way once I entered the room, and now JB was staring at me which caused me to fail to breathe properly.
"Not really...but maybe hah!" The guys were probably in the middle of their dance practice, and I had just rudely interrupt. I should probably leave now.
"Sorry guys for interrupting, I love GOT7, hwaiting!" I was ready to leave, yet JB stopped me, "Hey, you could sit down and have a chat with us...since you might be our junior! We're taking a break now!"
What the...?
"Seriously?!"
