five • Germinating
It was already a week since I officially joined JYP as a trainee. After moving to the dorm that the company arranged, I realised that GOT7 and I were actually neighbours.

I hadn't got the time to tidy up my clothes and belongings. They were still lying peacefully in my luggage. Also, the dome was so plan and I planned to do some decoration to embellish the house.
Knock. Knock.
"Coming!" I put down a box containing all my clothes and rushed to answer the door.
"Hey."
"Oh my god, hi JB!" He was so far the first visitor, "I'm sorry please come in! I was unpacking all my belongings so it's kinda messy here..."
I clumsily cleared a path for JB to walk to the living room.
"Wow, so you're not done with your things yet? It's already a week since you moved in!" JB chuckled and helped me to fold the empty boxes.
"Yeah...I was kinda lazy..." I tied my hair into a bun, "Where are the other 6?"
"In our dorm of course, they didn't know I'm here." Eye-smiling again. I'm so weak right now.
"Thanks for visiting me and helping me out! And I didn't even serve you a drink or anything," We almost done unpacking and I took out the only mug that I have to fill some juice for JB. No one treats their visitor even worse than me, I assume.
The living room was so spacious since there's only a sofa and a table. Nothing else.
"Are you going to go for furniture shopping? These are really..." He pointed at the two only furniture that I had and made a sympathy look.
Yeah, I've already decided to do so.
"My place is pathetic right?" I pouted, "But I'm not familiar of the routes around here and I can't speak Korean that well yet, would you mind accompany me?"
Please say yes.
"Sure!"
YES.
Thanks to the kind and helpful JB, my place looked neat and tidy in just half an hour time. Undeniably he's a good helper.
"Is it okay for us to go shopping alone? Do we need to disguise ourselves? Do you need to inform your manager?"
"Don't worry alright? I'm not that famous, paparazzi won't write things about me buying furniture right?" He was like "lol". He made me feel safe to stand by him.
But things didn't turn out as we hoped. We met a paparazzi who recognised JB and I was totally freaked out.
"JB! Who is this? Is she your girlfriend? What are you guys doing here? Are you two gonna move out and stay together?" The paparazzi is a guy. I hate him already.
"I...I..." I stared at JB anxiously, not knowing how to react to such situation.
"You're so funny!" He laughed, "She's our junior from overseas, I was asked to help her out, so are we done now?" He smiled, without even a bit of nervousness. He handled the situation so well.
"Well...alright then, have a great day."
Thank god he just let us go and left us alone. I should work hard in handling such situation calmly, I should really learn from JB.
"Phew.....no wonder you're the leader! You're so steady." I was sweating and my heartbeat increased like a roller coaster.
"It's not like we're dating right? And I was just speaking the truth...just that I wasn't really been asked, I volunteered." He smirked and walked towards the section that displayed lamps.
I loved that heart-shaped lamp, strips of steels were bent into a heart shape and when the light ray escaped through those gaps, it looked amazing.
"You like that?" JB must've caught me staring at it.
"Kind of. It looks so magical." I smiled without noticing JB had already payed for it.
When I was little, I loved fairytales, I wanna be a princess and loved by a charming prince. That's why I was attracted by enchanted stuffs.
"That magical lamp will be our gift for you." JB crossed his arms and looked into my eyes.
"What? Did you buy it for me? You shouldn't..."
"Hey, it's just a lamp! Welcome to JYP, Rae!"
"Heyyyy did you just call me Rae instead of Raelyn?" I found this nickname he gave amusing.
"What? It's easier to call you that way, you know Raelyn is kinda lengthy..."
"No it's not, Jae!"
"Heyyyyy what's with the 'Jae'?"
"I don't know! JB or Jaebum is kinda lengthy..."
"No it's not!"
Basically we ended our furniture shopping with laughters and nicknames.
Rae, Jae, Bomb, Raining, Bun...
We came up with nicknames that don't make sense at all, but we just couldn't stop.
It was a fine Wednesday afternoon with JB.
