CHAPTER 16

sixteen • sisters

"Rae, are you done yet?" JB yelled at the front door of my apartment.

We were going to Roommate's house to visit Jackson and also Youngji. I phoned Youngji just now and told her I'll be on the show tonight, she seemed excited as she said she wanted to cook something nice for me.

"I brought a friend along too, it's GOT7's leader, JB, you know him?" I told Youngji.

"Ah...so that guy is him, JB?"

"W...what? No...no! He's just my friend..." I stammered as I was surprised that Youngji linked him to that matter. I denied but Youngji didn't seem to buy it, she acted like she believed my words but she actually knew something.

"Okay, okay...kekeke, see you later!"

I put on my make up and wore something comfy - a pink and white stripes sweater and a black skirt.

"Let's go!" I opened the door and saw JB standing outside waiting for me. He wore a black t-shirt and a white leather jacket-just his usual look.

My manager drove us to their house, and I was memorising the names of the members while I was in the car.

"You knew their names?" I asked JB who looked relax and laughed at me while I was pronouncing their names.

"Of course! But you should continue since you're not Korean and might not know some older actors or singers." JB closed his eyes to take a break before we reached the spot.

"Joon Hyung...Oh he's our sunbae from g.o.d!" I was searching on internet about them, "Nana! I know her...she's from After School......and Sunny, of course, SNSD......Kang Jun...eh? He studied in Malaysia before? Wow cool..." I was talking to myself for about 20 minutes since JB was sleeping and couldn't reply me.

I really wanted to meet Kang Jun, he's so handsome, and JB mustn't know this. He'll probably forbid me to meet Kang Jun or even greet him.

We reached the house and I woke JB up. Both of us got down nervously and he pressed the doorbell.

A few seconds later, someone answered it, "Who is it?" It's Jackson's voice.

"It's us, Jaebum and Raelyn." JB replied, and I could hear Jackson cheering inside the house. He quickly opened the door for us and hugged both of us as he was too excited to see us here.

"Jaebum ah, I miss you so much." Jackson hugged JB and smiled happily. They're always so close and they're each other's playmate.

"Come in! Uh...there're only me, Youngji, Nana and my roommate, Kang Jun at home, we're almost the same age so I think we could get along well! Don't worry!" I guess Jackson could sense my anxiety so he said that to comfort me.

The house was really huge, the yard caught my eyes first. I've never been to such a huge house.

"Raelyn!!!" Youngji suddenly appeared and yelled my name. She ran to me and gave me a hug, "You're here!"

I was happy to see her again as she's so far my first girl friend in Korea.

"So...he's JB?" Youngji smirked at me and greeted JB, "Nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you, I'm GOT7's leader JB."

"Yah, I can't believe you invited Raelyn here." Jackson said to Youngji.

"Why couldn't I?" Youngji crossed her arms while talking to Jackson.

"She's my friend! I should be the one to invite her first." He put his arm on my shoulder, showing that we're close friend. His behaviour was very childish, especially in front of Youngji, I didn't know why but I knew there's something special in this girl.

"But you didn't! She's my friend too." Youngji pulled me away from Jackson. I laughed at their actions, they're like fighting for a toy.

Right then, I saw JB whispered at me, "Tell them you're mine."

"No!" I replied, not making a sound.

"Alright guys, aren't you gonna introduce us to the other members?" I tried to ease them.

Youngji then introduced me to Nana and Jackson brought me to visit his room and there's where I met Kang Jun.

"Bro, she's a Chinese from Malaysia," Jackson explained to Kang Jun, he was surprised and said, "Oh! I studied abroad in Malaysia before."

"I know." I smiled. He's really handsome, and his shyness was really cute. I was staring at him and smiling for about a minute until JB pushed my arm.

"Yah."

"...What?" I was baffled and looked at JB.

"Let's go out and chat!" Kang Jun walked out his room and brought us soft drinks. We gathered at the living room after exploring the house.

Youngji sat beside me and we couldn't stop talking as if we were long lost friends. She told me her life after debuted and how afraid she was for not being popular enough. I agreed too cause I was worried as her that no one knew me.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I didn't know how I came up with this, she seemed shocked about this question and later so did I.

"Of course no! How could I? Hahaha!" She told me it's better not to involve in a relationship that soon since we just debuted and it might affect our career and fans.

I looked at JB when she said these, JB seemed worried but he still smiled, like sunshine that warms my heart.

"Heish, she said this because no one likes her, I mean guys." Jackson teased Youngji and soon received a fierce glare from her.

I laughed as it's obvious that Jackson likes her a lot, even though he was always mean to her. JB smiled at me and I smiled back when no one noticed us, both of us didn't interact a lot there, in case someone found out the thing between us.

The PD asked us to play a Q&A game to get to know each other better, they've prepared a few questions for us to ask, we needed to pick it randomly and asked the one who sat on our left.

JB, Me, Youngji, Jackson, Nana, Kang Jun.

That's our seats.

Nana picked first.

"What would you do if you like a girl?" Nana asked Jackson. All of us were taken aback by questions like this. Oh, so those questions were somehow about relationship, huh?

"I will be mean to her, but always stay around her." Jackson answered. Nana smirked as if she realised something, only Youngji who didn't sense anything, "You're so weird."

"Okay my turn," Jackson randomly opened a paper, "What is your ideal date?"

"Why are the questions like this?" Youngji grumbled, "Uhm...I want to go to theme park and play roller coaster with...that guy."

"You're weird too." Jackson, again, being mean to Youngji.

"What would you do, as an idol, if you have a boyfriend?" Youngji asked me. I was blank when I heard the question.

"Uhm..." I thought for a while, of course I had to say something that wouldn't cause misunderstanding, "Perhaps...I'll hide it first, and tell my fans the truth at the right timing? I DONT KNOW!" I laughed awkwardly, so did Jackson and JB.

I quickly picked a question for JB, "What is your ideal type of girl?"

Everyone stared at him cause we were all curious about his answer, I bet the fans were curious too.

"Be specific!" Jackson said.

"Alright...I like girls with long hair, big eyes, loves to watch movies like me," He paused, "Loves to smile a lot, humble and eats a lot."

"Eats a lot?" Everyone was baffled by this criteria.

"Yeah, eats a lot and barely gains weight, never skip breakfast or dinner to keep fit." He looked at me while saying that, I quickly looked away and said, "Wow, haha, if such girl exists, she must be really weird."

"No, she's not, I mean, she won't be weird." He grinned.

Happiness overwhelmed me but I couldn't show it, I was smiling like an idiot deeply in my heart.

All of us were closer than we first arrived, Youngji and I were getting along well, we even planned to hangout together a week later.

"Raelyn! Let's take a selfie!" Youngji and I took a selfie, nope, we took a lot of selfies...and she chose the best to upload. Girls will never get tired of taking selfies, although we had taken about 100 but we still couldn't get enough. JB and Jackson were waiting for us for about 15 minutes already.

"Youngji-ah! Just let her go!" Jackson yelled at her. He will be following us back as GOT7 had to leave early tomorrow.

We wished goodbye and left before midnight.

"Do you have fun?" JB asked me while I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Yes...you?"

"Sure! Be with you is fun enough."

"Stop!!!" Jackson suddenly interrupted us and we both laughed.

As we reached the apartment, Jackson got in first, JB and I stood at the corridor before I went in.

"I'll see you...tomorrow night?" I said.

"Yeah...I'll miss you, give me a hug." He hugged me tightly as if we're going to separate forever.

Yet, we didn't know that we perhaps have to separate.
