CHAPTER 10

ten • date (part I)

"JYP's new solo female singer is going to release her first single on 18th October."

"Wang Raelyn, known to be JYP first foreign solo female singer will have her debut stage on M Countdown."

"After GOT7, JYP continues its usual style, bringing another foreign singer who allegedly known as a Chinese from Malaysia into his company and will be debuting on 18th October."

"Raelyn! Look! You're all over the news!" Yugyeom excitedly showing everyone the news on websites.

"I'm so nervous!!! Eotteohge?!" I'll be debuting in a week's time and I'm so not ready!

"Don't be nervous~~~" JB suddenly approached and pinched my chubby cheek hard.

"Yahhhhh!" My face was so pain so I pinched JB's face as hard as I could too.

"Hyung and noona look cute together!" Bambam said.

"What? No!" I laughed at his statement, even though I was happy inside.

"Are you free tonight? Are you free tonight?" JB started singing "Hooked" which is a song of JJ Project, Jr joined him too.

Wow, I just witnessed the reuniting of JJ Project.

"What is this?" I chuckled at their funky dance moves.

"Are you free tonight~~?" JB just won't stop.

"Yes..." I joined their dance.

"Let's go on a date~" JB sang it out.

What? He's asking me out for a date?

"Why?" I was baffled.

"Because I want to make you feel less nervous before you debut," Eye-smiled, "Plus, I won't be seeing you that much after you debut..." He made a ":(" face to deceit me.

"Ewwwww!" Jackson protested JB's cheesy act.

"Hmm...should I say yes?" I smirked, pretended that I was considering, yet I accepted it right after he asked. This is a dream for me!

"What? Hyung you really like Raelyn?"

"Oh god, Youngjae can you pay more attention about what's happening here?" Jr teased him.

Youngjae is so naive, in a good way, I mean.

"Just go on a date NOW!" Jackson yelled, at the same time smirked at me as if he planned all of these.

"Yeah! Go go!" Mark joined them too.

"Alright, I'm saying yes cause I don't want to disappoint you guys..." I shrugged my shoulders and hid my excitement.

"Okay go home now! I'm gonna pick you up at 7 alright?" JB pushed me out of the door and winked at me before he closed the door.

Wow, did he just drive me away? Anyway, I'm going on a date with JB tonight! This is so unbelievable.

I quickly returned home and opened my wardrobe to dig out some dresses.

Little black dress? It makes me look dark.

Singlet and jeans? Nope. Too casual.

White halter dress? Hmm...looks good. Alright I'll wear this.

Wait. Where are we going later? What if my attire isn't appropriate?

"Hey." I phoned him.

"It's only 5pm!"

"Yeah I know! Just wanna ask you what should I wear, I mean, where are we going later?"

"Just wear something pretty okay? Don't worry. It's bad luck for the bride and groom to talk before the wedding you know..."

"Heish, shut up! Alright bye." I hung up the phone and took a bath.

"Guys! What should I wear?!" JB stared at his clothes which were hung neatly and all his caps that were arranged according to the colour.

The GOT7 boys gathered in JB and Youngjae's room to assist JB in his first date.

"Just wear something not too casual and not too formal." Jackson suggested.

"I suggest you to shut up, hahahaha! It's not helpful!" Jinyoung laughed like a kid.

"Hyung, try that plain black tee with a white colour leather jacket! I think it suits you." Yugyeom also took a few of his accessories for JB that fit perfectly with the attire.

Yugyeom might not look as fashion as JB but sometimes he really could come up with some brilliant fashion ideas!

"Nice one, Yeommie!" Jinyoung complimented him.

JB accepted Yugyeom's suggestion and tried the black tee with white jacket as well as the jeans. He wore a silver necklace with a white diamond decoration on it which was Yugyeom's favourite necklace. This sweet boy lent his favourite belonging to the leader without complaining.

"JB you look super attractive." Jinyoung sincerely gave him a thumb-up. The boys nodded too, in agreeing Jr's comment.

"Thanks bro." JB hugged Jinyoung. They looked exactly like biological brother since they've been stuck together for almost 4 years since Dream High 2.

"I might be the most handsome member...but tonight I lost to you!" Jackson just couldn't give direct compliments despite he's really sincere. JB laughed in satisfaction and was ready to pick up his date - Raelyn.

"Good luck hyung!" Bambam.

"Take good care of my necklace!" Yugyeom reminded him over and over again.

"Beware of paparazzi!" Jinyoung, who is his friends for the longest time, exhorted him about the paparazzi. This was also the matter that the boys concerned the most.

"Hold her hand!" Jackson shouted happily, as if he's watching a romance drama.

"HWAITING!" Mark and Youngjae cheered.

"Alright! Thanks guys, I'm leaving now! Wish me all the best!"
