SIVA UPRISING

Chapter 1

(The Throne Room, T'Challa's Palace, Birnin Zana, Wakanda, 2:00 am)

" And so, you have no clue what this meteorite is. That's what we're hearing from you, your Highness? " Ikora Rey asked.

The Vanguard were on holographic call, the entire Wakandan council had convened in the Throne Room, Carol Danvers was present as well. Cayde had his arms crossed and chuckled.

" What convinces you it's not just a hunk of space junk? " he asked.

" Well, my two trusted men were with me earlier. They witnessed it wasn't just a space junk or anything from Thanos' ship remains, " the blonde half-Kree woman answered.

The council exchanged glances and murmured for they had their memory of the previous year's global invasion and supposed doomsday. The others felt anxious which it would happen anytime soon. T'Challa clearly remembered the day he got decimated in this country during the battle of New York. He turned to Carol as he thought she could do something into this situation.

" What made you say that? " the Wakandan King asked. " Are you certain that it is not from Thanos nor the other Invaders? "

" It was just a meteor, T'Challa, " she answered. " If I could penetrate further, there was no sign of Thanos or his minions. Me and my colleagues had defeated them a year ago. But this one is a different case. "

" We do not doubt your judgement Ms. Danvers, we are only seeking solid clarification, " Ikora assured.

" Indeed, the Vanguard is here to enforce its allies only if the situation is truly dire. While this meteor has us concerned, we don't see any reason to raise an alarm, " Zavala followed.

" Well, Bearer of the Barrier Stone, I detected an unknown entity from the meteorite that could infect the entire place since you have known that in your dimension, " Carol explained. " So, I would suggest to prepare at any costs. "

" Hold on, infect? You're implying the meteor has some sort of disease? " Cayde leaned in.

" Not only that, she said we would know it from our own dimension. But I don't see what it could be, " Zavala pondered.

" Are you familiar with that? "

Everyone noticed the lights flickering a bit, and strangely enough, the sky was slowly getting darker outside despite being around the late morning hours. The Wakandan council turned their heads and became more anxious than ever. King T'Challa crossed his arms and turned to half-Kree woman giving her a serious facial expression.

Carol sighed and slowly turned around. She got worried at her son's whereabouts and the others on the ground.

" Hey, everything alright? The connection is spotty..." Cayde asked, tapping at his screen. The holographic call became static.

"A disease... from our world..." Ikora thought.

" Amnon! He's gone with his friends again! They should be here right now! " Carol anxiously thought. The Awoken Titan Vanguard looked at the half-Kree woman's uneasiness and the connection as T'Challa curiously stared.

" Is there something wrong? " T'Challa asked.

Just then, her eyes widened and she stumbled back. Cayde and Zavala noticed this clearly.
