Alright here's your warning!

⛔️THIS IS A MATURE STORY

which means language, and lots of smut!

You've been warned. For those who continue, please enjoy and leave a comment if you want! 😊

I adjusted my hair for the millionth time. It was my 19th birthday and my friends had told me to be ready and look hot for their surprise tonight. Knowing them it would involve booze and some sort of elaborate plan to get me laid. They had been trying ever since I told them I had made it this far without ever having sex. They still hadn't been successful changing that.

Sighing, I took one last look in the full length mirror. Damn I looked hot. I had tied my long dark purple hair into a messy bun, and applied some blush and eye liner hoping to bring some sort of color to my cheeks. I didn't want anyone thinking I was some vamp freak since I was so pale.

My outfit was modest but sexy, a mid thigh flowing crushed red velvet dress and fishnets. I slid on some black stiletto heels and a choker necklace, grabbed my clutch and headed out the door before I could second guess myself. The warm California air was crisp but warm, showing the sign that October was approaching.

My friends pulled up in their charger and threw the door open. Sam, my best friend, sat in the back with a blindfold grinning like an idiot.

"Come on Layla! We wouldn't want to get there too late!"

I shuffled my way into the back, yelping as she shut the door and threw the black cloth over my eyes. God where were they taking me.

"Yo Layla you're gonna need this."

Marcus, Sams boyfriend slid a thin card between my fingers. It must be a fake ID. What have I gotten into. It wasn't unusual for my friends to go out and do this occasionally, but I had only done it a number of times. We must have been going somewhere downtown if I counted the turns right, heading right into the heart of downtown LA.

The ride was filled with small chatter and talks of finding parking. From the sound of it valet was the only option.

Sam yanked me out of the car and she and Marcus steered me through the crowd until we stopped. When the blindfold lifted I gasped in both true surprise and terror. A chill went up my spine as I saw the blood red door and gargoyle statues on either side. This was a highly renowned vampire nightclub.

"Please tell me we aren't going in there." I whispered, causing Sam to giggle in glee.

"We are! I've been wanting to come here forever and you love to dance! Come on it'll be fun." She took her arm in mine and steered me once again towards the door. The guard outside barely looked at our IDs before letting us in.

We were surrounded by bass and a low rumbling voice over the speakers. To my surprise Creed was playing. Odd.

Now I'd never seen a vampire up close. I'd seen them on tv and heard of them through various places but never seen one in person. Supposedly it was their eyes and ungodly pale skin that gave them away.

If that were the case I had nothing to worry about. We stood above the sea of bodies and to my relief most everyone looked normal. The room was quite large and dark, several balconies and velvet booths away from prying eyes. There were girls in barely any clothes dancing on stages and poles in the center.

"I'm gonna get us some drinks!" Sam yelled over the crowd. Before I could stop her she disappeared into the crowd. I had no choice but to stay put, feeling out of place against the railing I stood against. My eyes scanned the higher balconies before stopping dead in their tracks.

Standing kiddy corner to where I was were a pair of glowing ice blue eyes, staring right at me. It was too dark to really make out any other detailing features, but I could tell the man who was lounging in a large black chair was someone important here. There were a few girls sitting near him, some even topless to my disbelief.

The way he stared unnerved me. He wore tight leather pants, a black button up and had hair that fell right above his shoulders. And his skin...

Dear god his skin was pale. My eyes adjusted to the dim light and I gasped, turning and almost running in the direction Sam had disappeared to. I made it to the bar but she was nowhere to be found.

"Are you lost kitten?"

All breath left my body and I suddenly felt faint. A low voice caressed my neck as I turned, knees almost buckling as I looked up into the same blue eyes I had just been staring into. I noted the black ring that adorned the mans nose and lip, and from the look he had tattoos peaking out of his shirt.

"N-no. I'm here w-with a fe-fe-few friends. Thank- thank you th-though." I stammered, trying to move away from him. My back was pressed against the bar and his hands rested on either side of me, caging me in far too close to him. I'm sure everyone could hear my heart racing.

"What's the matter? You seem nervous." He grinned, showing pearly white teeth. My eyes darted down to them but no fangs were present. At least none I could see. Still this man set me on edge.

"I'm-I'm fine. Just not feeling to well all of a sudden."

At that moment I felt my heartbeat quicken. The man dipped his head down and inhaled my hair, growling in a way that set my body on fire.

"You're a virgin." Jesus Christ he was a vampire! Fuck fuck fuck!

"I need to get going-"

The mans hand gripped my wrist as he tucked something inside of it. A piece of paper?

"You should give me a call when you're wanting to change that gorgeous." He licked from my collar bone up to my ear before pulling away and disappearing in the crowd. I didn't notice how hard I was breathing or how very turned in I had been. What the fuck.

I tucked the paper into my clutch with shaking hands and saw a familiar Red head bobbing my way. Sam gave me a curious look.

"You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."

I gulped loudly before downing every bit of whatever drink she had brought me.

"You have no idea."
