"Its a mistake. I should have just taken azoora and left you behind at home." Arhaan said to Lana.
I laughed at what he said.
"Now now, don't be mean bhaiyya, I'm looking for clothes. I've to have a new closet. Cant be wearing the same clothes to college all over again." She said as she flipped her baby blue hijab.
I laughed harder now.
She didn't mean what she previously said, she was messing around with Arhaan.
We were at H&M. Lana was shopping for clothes since college was starting soon.
Arhaan looked at her unamused.
"Okay okay. I'm just kidding. Let me buy one more clothing and we're done." Lana said to him.
He nodded his head in response before Lana walked down an aisle which was on the left. Arhaan and I walked in another direction, just strolling through the gap between the racks and looking at clothes.
Arhaan stopped walking and took a dress off a rack. "I like this one." He said.
"Ooh! Its cute! Lana will love it!" I said. it was a white colored bell sleeved dress. The sleeves were netted till three quarter and there on, it was bell sleeved, and it was v necked.
"Umm.. Its not for Lana. Its for you." He said.
"Oh.." I replied dragging.
"Do you like it?" He asked.
"Oh no Arhaan. You don't have to get it for me." I replied smiling.
"Azoora." He said laughing. "I'm your husband, I have all the rights to. Don't feel awkward. Even if you want something, get it. I don't mind it one bit." He said smiling warmly and taking the dress off the hanger.
I awkwardly stood smiling as I uncomfortably twisted my fingers in my hands.
Seems like he's getting it whether I liked it or not..

"Umm.. I'll have a triple cheese big mac." I said shyly.
Arhaan looked at me smiling widely. "That's more like it." He said.
I looked down blushing.
Once we had ordered the food and received it, we walked to a table which was set in the open.
The weather was chilly, but extremely calm.
"Sooo.." Lana spoke looking between me and Arhaan. "You know what? Can I take cab back home? I feel like I'm third wheeling."
"What! No! You aren't third wheeling. Don't be dramatic." I said.
Arhaan on the other hand said "please do."
I looked at him unamused.
"I was only joking! I'd never let her take a cab, all the way home, alone!" Arhaan said to me while chuckling
I gave a toothy smile in reply. "That's more like it."
He returned the smile as he held my gaze.
"Yup! Totally third wheeling." Lana yelled laughing.
I looked away from Arhaan and laughed as I slapped her arm.
The three of us were done eating, we were now sipping on our drinks while we sat in silence, until Lana broke it.
"So bhabhi, tell me more about your job. I admire it tremendously. I wish I had picked psychology instead of additional mathematics." She said ending with a sigh.
"My job.." I said laughing lightly. "Well, what exactly should I say? Its kind of hard. Because, what you put out is extremely important, one wrong move, and god knows how badly I might hurt the person. Making them open up at the start is such a task, but Alhamdulillah, I don't mind the trouble, I adore my job incredibly. Being able to help a worried soul, is the best feeling ever! I'm no Allah, but you get me right?" I ended breathing out a laugh.
"That actually is insane! I mean, sadly, most kids these days are really disturbed, and you HELP who ever you could! That's so cool! Mashaallah!" Lana said excitedly.
I smiled at her and looked at Arhaan, who already had his eyes on me, with a small smile on his face.
I raised one of my eyebrows at him in question.
He shook his head, with the same smile still on.
I smiled at him and looked away when I suddenly felt a hand take my left hand which was resting on my left thigh.
My head snapped in Arhaans direction, I looked at him wide eyed.
He smirked and winked in return.
I hurriedly looked at Lana, hoping she hadn't noticed, and thank god, she was busy on her phone.
I brought my gaze back to Arhaan.
His hands were now intertwined with mine, and sat rested on my thigh.
I felt a tingling sensation run through my body as his thumb rubbed tiny circles on my hand while he nonchalantly sipped on his drink.
It was indescribable. The tiniest things he did, made me go insane.
Does he not realize?! Does he not realize that he was slowly driving me insane!?
