"Can I take the blind fold off now!?" I asked impatiently.

"Not quiet yet." He replied as I heard a door close behind us. It was the entrance door.

We just arrived at Arhaans place. He blind folded me when we neared home. He wanted to surprise me.

I had no idea how his home was, but what I least expected, was for him to live in an apartment. I figured that he lived in an apartment when we took the elevator.

"You love nature, serenity and all of those stuff yeah?" He asked me as he held my hand and led the way.

"Yes!" I replied as I turned to my right and smiled widely. Hopefully he's the one I'm smiling at, and not a wall or something.

"Well, hopefully you love our home. I decorated it for you, no, wait. not decorate exactly, just got you a few stuff..." He said.

He sounded like he was panicking. Cute.

I felt warmth spread my through body at his adorableness.

I felt his hand leave mine, and then he messed with the blindfold as he tried to unknot it. I then felt it slip off face and the next second, my mouth dropped open in shock.

"Do you like it?!" He asked hurriedly.

"Like it? Like it?!" I asked humorlessly.

"You don't?" He asked. He sounded confused and.. hurt?

How could he even think I'd hate it!

"I love it!" I said tearing.

I looked out into the open. another revelation, he had a pent house, that too which gave out the most breathtaking view ever. I could see the huge park and all the greenery, the busy city on the left and the best part was, I could see the ocean, which was so far away! It was all so beautiful.

We were at the balcony of the first floor of the two he owned. The balcony was extremely wide and spacious, it had three sofas, a square wooden table and a rocking chair.

"Subhanallah!" I whispered to myself as I looked at the orange sky which was getting red by the second. The view was insanely beautiful, and since we were right at the top, it was insanely quiet though the street down and ahead looked busy and crowded.

I could sit out here forever!

The fact that he decorated the house for me, made my heart melt.

All the tiny plants, which rested against the glass ledge, sat in their cute pots, they were decorated with fairy lights. There was a huge evergreen fir tree in the far right corner of the balcony, it was decorated with lights too. The square wooden table sat in front of the long wooden sofa, and the two smaller ones on either sides of it. The table was filled with gifts. There was a chocolate cake which read 'welcome home', a huge bunch of sunflowers, tiny cute cupcakes and all of my favorite snacks.

I looked back up, into the open as I felt my eyes tear up again.

I felt him coming to stand next to me. Both of us, now stood side by side, staring into the open.

Our hands were brushing against each other.

I braved up and took his hand in mine.

I saw his head snap in my direction.

I ignored it as I raised his hands to my lips and panted a gentle kiss on the top of his hand.

I could see his face break into a smile.

"You haven't seen our home yet." He said.

I loved how right from the start kept addressing it as 'our' home, instead of 'my' home.
