[ HEEJIN'S POINT OF VIEW ]

I leaned back on my seat, listening to some music while I stared outside the large windows. It was a fine yet rainy day in the campus, and it's currently my free period. It's been awhile since I had peace and quiet ever since i became the president of the student council. So I decided, why not go and chill in the library?

It was raining a bit hard outside but it's warm and cozy inside the library. I averted my gaze from the view to change the music from my phone when i noticed someone standing just right in front of me. I looked up and saw Renjun with an obvious nervous smile on his lips.

I took off my earphones and greeted him, "Hey, what's up", I said and smiled at him.

Even though Renjun and I didn't share the same major, we were actually very good friends. We would often hang out during free period or even after class with my friends. As far as i can remember, the first time we ever interacted was when i gave him a tour around the campus.

Renjun is an exchange student from China, he was actually a really shy boy around me back then. Maybe because he didn't knew that much Korean before, but anyways I'm glad that he's a bit comfortable now.

"Hi", he simply replied at me and scratched the back of his neck. He took a quick glance behind him, and i saw maybe two or three of his friends who were hiding behind the bookshelves. Renjun turned to face me again before presenting me a bouquet of flowers.

I furrowed my eyebrows while staring at it, I kept glancing at him and the bouquet of flowers. He motioned me to take it, I simply let out a chuckle, "Oh, you're giving me this?", I reached out my hand to take it from him. I checked out the bouquet of flowers he gave to me, "Thanks, you really shouldn't have", I shot him a grateful smile.

He shook his head at me, "Oh, no worries", he reassured me. I heard him taking a deep breath before speaking once again, "I was actually wondering if you would like to watch movies with me?", he asked in a very low tone, thankfully I was able to catch it.

"Oh", was all I said. He looked down on his own feet but I was able to see his red cheeks. I cleared out my throat before looking at the bouquet of flowers he gave to me. "Um, yea. Yeah sure, when?", I replied.

He raised his head to look at me, "Really?", he asked in disbelief. I nodded my head at him, making the boy from ear to ear. "Um, does Friday sound good?", he squinted his eyes.

"Oh um, wait I'll check my schedule if I'm free on Friday", I reached over to grab my backpack. "Have a seat, Renjun", I offered while I flipped the pages of my schedule planner.

"Okay", I heard him reply as he took a seat across me.

I scanned my schedule for this week, I raised my head up until I saw Soobin running towards my direction from the corner of my eye. I furrowed my eyebrows as I watched him steady his breathing, he placed a hand on my shoulder. "There you are", he managed to speak while trying to catch his breath.

He wiped the sweat in his forehead, "You okay there?", I asked him worriedly.

"Ms. Han is expecting you in the office in 3:45 p.m", he informed me.

I raised my eyebrow at him before gathering my stuff and shoving them inside my backpack. I looked at Renjun with a smile on my face, "Yeah, Friday does sound good to me", I told him.

"Alright, I'll pick you up at 5 p.m", he said, smiling back at me.

I wore my backpack and grabbed the bouquet of flowers, "Thanks for this again", i thanked him. I pressed my lips into a thin line, "Alright, bye", I slightly bowed at him.

He clasped his hands together in front of him, "Bye", he replied and slightly bowed back.

Soobin also bid goodbye before turning on his heel, we walked out of the library. After gently closing the library door behind us, he shot me a look. I glared at him before making our way to the office.

"So, you're going on a date with him?", he gently nudged my sides.

I playfully rolled my eyes at him, "It's not a date", I told him.

"Oh really? What do you call it then?", he teased me once more.

"We're just hanging out to watch movies", I reasoned out.

He burst out laughing, "That's basically the same thing, Heejin", he commented.

"Why am I even wasting my time arguing with an idiot", i muttered.

"Correction, this idiot is a bestfriend of yours", he noted. I groaned in frustration which made him laugh even more, "That from him as well?", he motioned at the bouquet of flowers.

I raised my eyebrow at him, "Yeah, you got a problem?", i joked.

"I didn't said anything!", he raised his arms in surrender.

I chuckled at his annoyingness, "Good", I mumbled.

"But you do know that he thinks of you not just a friend?", he questioned me.

"What kind of question is that?", I exclaimed and smacked the back of his head. The tall boy groaned and started rubbing the back of his head to sooth the pain, "Come on, I'm sure he's just being friendly", I convinced him.

Soobin smirked, "Too friendly to my liking", he uttered.

I let out a sigh, "Come on, not this again. There's really nothing going on between Renjun and I", I rubbed my temples.

"How are you so sure about that?", he raised his eyebrow at me,

"He does not, okay?", I clenched my jaw at his question.

He clicked his tongue, "Okay, but what if he does? Will you started going out with him?", he asked me while wriggling his eyebrows.

"No, I don't think so", I shook my head at his question. I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't really have time for that", I honestly told him.

I am telling the truth. I really don't have time to go on a date or something, I'm the President of the Student Council. Hence I have a lot of things to do, attending classes, attending meetings, proposing new activities for the student here in the campus and most importantly maintaining good grades. Plus my love life didn't really turned out well so I don't have time for dating.
