[ CHAPTER 19: BECAUSE I STILL CARE PT.1 ]

[ HEEJIN'S POINT OF VIEW ]

As soon as the lunch bell rung, I immediately gather my stuff and jolted up from my seat. I didn't even bother to past by my friend's classroom like I always usually do, not after our huge argument last time. Now you might be wondering why I can't just hang out with Shuhua instead and ditch Soobin. Well for your own information, the two are literally took the same major which is why they're classmates. Plus I have a reason why Shuhua chose to stick up with Soobin than with me because I know she's also lowkey rooting for us to get back together. 

I managed to caught a glimpse of a familiar brown haired boy, "Renjun!", I called after him and quickened my pace to catch up to him.

The buy turned around with his eyebrows furrowed together, but quickly flashed a smile when he saw that it was just me. "Oh, hey!", he waved at me.

"Would you like to hang out with me?", I suggested with hopeful eyes. He didn't even hesitated and already agreed to my offer, which I'm very glad about. Renjun nodded his head at his friends, urging to go ahead because he won't be joining them. "Thanks, I really appreciate it", I told him quietly in which he only hummed.

We started making our way to cafeteria, there were a few heads turned to us but we paid them no attention. I already made it clear long to everyone long ago that I only like Renjun as a friend, nothing more. I'm really thankful that he accepts it that way and respects my decision. I also really appreciate it a lot whenever he's always by my side when I needed his help.

I heard him clear out his throat which made me look up at him, "Um, I hope you don't mind me asking", he started, cautiously glancing at from time to time.

"Ask away", I muttered under my breath.

"So, where's your friends? Are they sick or something?", he continued.

I raised my eyebrows, "Oh, about that..., we had a very bad argument a few days ago. The two decided to stick to each other, leaving me by myself, alone", I answered him.
