[ HEEJIN'S POINT OF VIEW ]

When I arrived in the place, almost all the seats were taken already but thankfully due to Yiren having some connections, she managed to reserve a seat to me. A pretty good seat I must say because we're literally just behind the player's bench. I reached for my back pocket but didn't felt my phone there. With wide eyes, I checked it once again but didn't found it. I then started panicking and began checking my other pockets as well.

"What's wrong?", I heard the girl beside me asked. I looked at her and saw her worried expression, i stood up and checked my pockets once more.

"My phone..., I couldn't find it", I told her.

Yiren furrowed her eyes tightly, "Maybe you left it in the bathroom?", she spoke.

"Maybe I did", I muttered under my breath before sighing. I sprinted down the stairs and made my way to the corridors. I looked up and saw the players headed out my way, I assumed they just came from the locker room.

I managed to notice a few familiar faces, some giving me a short nod, a small smile or a small wave as we passed by each other. I entered the female's bathroom and started hunting for my phone everywhere until one of the stalls opened and a familiar figure stepped out of the stall.

Yeji cleared out her throat when she saw me, "Is this yours?", she asked me softly which made me look up. I bit my inside cheeks before landing my gaze on the object she was holding. I snapped out of my thoughts before nodding my head at her. She handed me back my phone and gave me a small smile.

"Thanks", I mumbled under my breath before returning the smile.

She giggled while awkwardly scratching the back of her hand, "No problem", she said.

I exhaled through my mouth before turning on my heel and pushing the door open. When I came face to face with the one and only Hwang Y/N. I was startled of course and could only stare at them with wide eyes. I froze on my spot and didn't even realized that I was practically admiring their striking features.

Our eyes locked a bit before I heard Yeji cleared out her throat which made me look away. She excused herself and went out the female's rest room and headed back on the corridor. I looked at Y/N once again but noticed that there were a bunch of other players that stood at the end of the corridor. They were watching over me and their rookie player, I also noticed that they had smug smiles on their faces. Others were even wriggling their eyebrows at the both of us, I feel like I can't stay here any much longer.

I gulped, "Excuse me", I muttered under my breath before brushing past them. I hung my head low as I started walking past the players and I felt myself turning red.

I stopped midway when one of them blocked my path, I looked up at him before they shot me a small smile. I tried to walk past him but he completely blocked me with his whole body.

"I needto go", I told him but he just shook his head at me.

"Aren't you even going to wish them good luck?", he teased me and nodded at his direction.

I hesitated for a bit but my body turned on it's own, I glanced and saw the eyes of Y/N who were staring back at mine as well. I looked back at the one blocking my way which made me curse them in my mind.

I tried to flash the nicest smile at them before taking a deep breath, my eyes started to lock with Y/N's which made my breath hitched on my throat. "Good luck, Y/N", I whispered but I'm sure that they weren't able to heart it.

"What was that?", the player from earlier asked with a teasing smirk.

I glared at him before turning once again at Y/N, "Good luck! Don't get hurt!", I repeated and my lip curved into a small smile on their own.

This time the smile didn't seemed forces like it just naturally came. The corridor went chaos and the players started cooing and teasing the latter which made them get flustered. I felt myself chuckled as I watched the latter struggle on hiding their flushed cheeks. He finally stepped out so iIcould get away from the scene. Not forgetting to send them one last smile before jogging away from them.

[ Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW ]

We were preparing ourselves for the jump ball when we heard the cheers from our fellow school mates. I glanced up and the first thing that caught my attention was the latter who was sitting along with my bestfriend and my twin sister.

I couldn't but smile as our locked for a bit when I suddenly remembered how she wished me good luck with that adorable smile of hers earlier. To be honest, it was all the motivation I needed to score all the points in this match.

A few second later the referee blew the whistle and the ball has been tossed in the air. As soon as Hyunjin got the ball she already passed it to me. I dribbled to the left, completely avoiding my opponent who was trying to steal the ball from me. Before he could even snatch the ball, I released the ball and with a swoosh it landed in the hoop.

Cheers and applauses were erupted as I scored, I took a quickly glance at Heejin who seemed to enjoying the game very much. She was jumping up and down while punching the air very cutely. I averted my gaze from her for a bit and focused back my attention on the game.

I reminded myself that every time I will score a point, I would glance at her direction with a proud smile. If I were a bit more confident than the usual, I might wink at her direction or do a finger heart. I was starting to get exhausted but every timeIi would look at her, I feel myself being boosted and my energy had been refilled by her adorable smile.
