[ CHAPTER 17: JEALOUSLY ]

[ HEEJIN'S POINT OF VIEW ]

I heard a few knocks on my door, followed by Shuhua shouting like a mad woman, "Yah! Jeon Heejin! Renjun is here already!", my eyes widened upon hearing what she said.

Grabbing my shoulder bag, I swung the open with a grimace. I made my way to the living room where I saw Renjun sitting on one one of the couches while drinking tea, that Shuhua probably offered to him. Once he noticed my presence, he waved at me and gave me a small smile.

"You should have told me you were coming over to pick me up", I ushered to him.

He chuckled, "Don't worry, I don't mind", he reassured me and gave a smile once more.

But then Shuhua cleared out her throat which made the both turn to her direction, she was leaning on the wall with her arms crossed over her chest, "Alright, where are you two going?", she asked. I was about to respond but she beat me to it, "You two going on a date aren't you?", she pointed at me and Renjun with her eyes squinted.

I widened my eyes and shook my head repeatedly, denying her acusiations while Renjun choked on his tea upon hearing what the latter just said. "No we're not. We're going to Seungmin's party and i brought him as my plus one", i defended which made him nod in agreement.

"You brought him as your plus one? No offense taken Renjun by the way", she spoke.

"None taken", the boy replied.

Shuhua shook her head repeatedly, "I'm your room mate and bestfriend, yet you didn't even bother to bring me as your plus one to a party?", she pouted.

"I thought so too, she could have just ask Choi Soobin", he commented.

"Come on, don't be jealous the two of us hang out a lot", I defended while raising my arms in surrender at her. "And Soobin might be busy munching on bread", I added.

I saw Shuhua smirked, "Says the one who's jealous when she sees her ex and the class president together?", she mocked me but burst into laughter later on when she sees my reaction to what she just said.
