[ HEEJIN'S POINT OF VIEW ]
Our proctor handed me the answer sheet and the questionnaire before he proceeded to distribute to the next student. "Please double check your questionnaires to assure that all the pages are complete", his voice bounced back and forth on the walls of the room.
I did what I was told and confirmed that everything is complete, I reached over for my shoulder bag to grab myself a pencil so I can start answering now. When I didn't anything for the first time, my heart quickly raced and checked once again. I began digging in my shoulder bag nervously but there was no pencil in sight.
Looking around with my lips pursed together, I watched how everyone began answering the exam already. I held my head, I'm pretty sure I brought a pencil with me.
A sigh escaped my lips and looked around if someone had an extra pencil or something but was clearly avoiding to look at the person next to me. When I was already about to give up, something caught my attention that I badly needed at the moment.
There was a pencil that was just peeking out of their hoodie pocket, Y/N must have felt me staring at them because they raised up their head to look at me. I quickly looked away and pretended that I was reading the questionnaire and thankfully the proctor isn't standing in front.
I looked over my shoulder and watched the proctor distributing papers to the students behind me. I opened my mouth to say something but quickly hesitated and though thoroughly for my actions first. Without having any more choice, I gulped and cleared out my throat.
"Excuse me?", I whispered but made sure to be audible for the both of us.
But they pretended that they didn't hear meme since they still kept on answering the exam, or maybe because they thought that I'm not talking to them. I glanced over my shoulder to make sure that the proctor is still focused on distributing papers before repeating my attempt.
I took a deep breath and reached over for their shoulder, quickly retreating my hand after done tapping their shoulder to get their attention. "Sorry, but do you have another pencil?", I said in a hushed tone, so the proctor won't caught me talking.
