 "Run!"

That was the first thing Mimi heard right before it started. The ground shook violently, and Mimi, panicked, darted into her car, locking the doors and tightening her seatbelt. It wasn't long after that when the source of the earthquake showed up. She couldn't miss... It... Him?

Anyways, the dude was like, as big as a skyscraper. Absolutely gigantic! His surroundings seemed to shock him, all those tiny people running around. He scanned the little road before his eyes locked on none other than Mimi's car.

He grinned as he picked up the car. Kenny, his name, was actually an experiment gone wrong. He also had autism and could be very childish sometimes. He didn't really like all of the screaming and yelling, so he took Mimi and her car with him to the neighboring area, an empty field, oblivious to the smaller person's existence.

He sat criss cross on the grass, playing with Mimi's car as if it were a collectible Hotwheels car, rolling it back and forth.

Meanwhile, Mimi, still in the car, was horrified. And nauseous. After about 30 minutes, the giant got bored and forgot about the tiny car, finding that those tiny trees were much more interesting.

This was her chance! Mimi was a blur as she got out, only stopped by a huge, fleshy wall of a hand. Rather roughly, Kenny picked her up and brought her to eye level.

Mimi screamed at the top of her lungs, making Kenny drop her instantly to cover his ears, whimpering. Mimi shuddered at the loud sound.

She turned to make her escape, but she stopped. She had never heard such an odd noise, but yet she perfectly understood the heartbroken whine.

"You can't speak, can you?" She asked , feeling much more sorry for him than she did for herself. He furrowed his brow, making sense of her question before hesitantly nodding yes.

Mimi knew at once that he had autism. She had a brother with autism, too, and it frustrated her when her little brother couldn't even manage to have a conversation with her. She always had to remind herself that it wasn't his fault.

She watched Kenny, he was pretty much just a little kid, except for the fact that he seemed to be around 17, a year older than Mimi. Mimi awkwardly patted him on his oversized finger, receiving a tap on the head, making her stumble.

But that was OK, Mimi forgave him. It wasn't his fault, honestly. He was in his own world, where noise was too loud and being childish was the norm. They would both have to get used to the new perspectives.
