My daughter has been my new found alarm clock for the last 6 weeks. Today will be the first day of my first full week at my new school. I spent Thursday and Friday there and already have a good few friends that have already invited me to one of their pools later on. "Jasmine You need to get up with her." Whisper my mom through the door. I groan and roll over to the 6 week old who is in the Moses basket. I pick her up and adjust her on my boob and she begins to feed. Every time she does it I feel a sense of relief since when I first tried to feed her she couldn't latch very well. I check my phone and see it's only 6am and I don't need to be at school till 8. While I'm feeding her I stand up and walk over to my closet sliding the big mirrored doors open. I pull out a pair of black jeans and a baby blue off the shoulder shirt that ties in the front. I place them on my bed and finish feeding Giulietta. So far she has been the best baby I ever could have wished for, I mean apart from at night time but no baby is the best at night. I swaddle her in a thin blanket and place her in the centre of my bed while I get ready for school. I walk into my en suit and tie my blonde hair up high so the water from the shower won't wet it.

After I've showered I get dressed and brush my teeth taking out my hair from its ponytail and brushing it through. Just as I leave the bathroom I see Giulietta begin to stir and know she'll be wanting fed again. In the mornings she feeds little but often which is sort of a nightmare but I don't mind. I check the time on my phone and see it's 6:50am I know I definitely have enough time till I get picked up so I make myself some breakfast.
Just as I sit down at the dark hardwood table after burping Giulietta and going back to feeding her my phone starts to ring, a FaceTime call from Enzo Giulietta's dad. My mom moved us with her when her job got transferred and he still wants to be as involved with his daughter as he can be being 4 hours away. We aren't together but he still really try's to be there for us. "Hey good morning." I whisper to him trying not to disturb anyone else in the house.
"Hi, how did she sleep? Any better than last night? I wish I could help. I hate being so far away." Smiles Enzo. I can feel how genuine he's being even thought it's just FaceTime.
"She slept great when she decided to sleep." I laugh "not any better than the night before but not any worse... I feel sick about leaving her." I confide in Enzo I always have told him how I feel because he always knows what to say.
"Listen your leaving her with your mom. Who loves her just about as much as you and I. She'll be okay and if anything happens she'll let you know. Try not to worry too much... I've got to go school starts early here remember. If you need anything just text me. Goodbye Jas and make sure my baby's eating good." He says just before hanging the phone up. I sigh and look down at her. She's back asleep and looking as tranquil as can be, completely zen.

"Jas, Jasmine calm down she'll be okay. I'll send you a picture every hour if it will keep you calm. I know you don't like leaving her but you have to keep it together... wipe your eyes and get your bag your friends are outside." Convinces my mom. She's standing in the kitchen cooking her and my older sister Kate breakfast and watching over Giulietta that is in her moveable mazes basket.
"I know and yes send me pictures. Okay I gotta go. Thank you mom. I love you baby." I say kissing her head and walking out the door. I take a deep breath and wipe my eyes before walking towards my new friends car.
"Hey early morning I see." Smiles Ella. She's in the drivers seat then Annie in the passengers.
"What gave it away." I laugh. They don't know about me being a teen mom yet and I want it to stay that way just until they get to know me.
"The deep breath and wiping your eyes before you even closed the door. Okay school lets go." Laughs Ella driving out of the driveway and down the street.

It's now 10am and it's break. We have a 20 minutes break until our next class and at this point I couldn't be more glad. I've been up for 4 hours but I didn't get much sleep so I am exhausted. While everyone is talking about the weekend plans my phone buzzes and it's my mom. -"she's fine see."- I open the text to see a picture of Giulietta and my sister cuddled up on the sofa. -"I'm glad."- I reply putting my phone down. Then it starts to ring continuously. I turn it over 'Enzo' I stand up from the table and walk out the side door so I would be able to hear him. "Hi Enzo, how's your day?" I ask.
"Yeah alright just had history... I was just calling to check up on you. Make sure your okay and not going crazy."
"No I'm not going crazy but my moms sending me pictures of her every hour so I'll send them to you. She's being such an angel. Okay thank you for checking up I have to go. I'll text you though. Bye Enzo." I smile hanging up the phone and walking back to my seat. I send the picture to Enzo and he immediately replies. -"Awe my bambina. I love her."- I smile at his response and put my phone down to try and be more social with my new friends.
