"I hope you all have learned your lesson. I will let it slide this time, as I know (Y/n) can be too much for some, but I expect such a thing to never happen again, understood?"

[Yes, Professor Goodwitch...]

The ride back to Beacon, was not easy for our students.

After getting chewed out by Glynda, everyone was more or less mentally exhausted. They now knew exactly how protective she was of her little dragon. And they all mentally vowed to never let little (Y/n) out of their sights the next time any of them was given the task to watch after him.

If there was a 'next time' to begin with.

As everyone stepped out of the ship, Ozpin came up to greet them, his ever present mug in hand and a barely noticeable relieved look in his eyes.

"I assume everything of a destructive nature was contained?" the man asked, receiving a nod from Glynda.

*flap* *flap*

However, as stoic as Ozpin was, he couldn't help but stare a bit dumbfounded at Glynda's nephew, whose hand she held-

*flap* *flap*

-for the sole reason of preventing (Y/n) from flying away, as his small wings once again appeared from his back, the boy using them to float like a ballon behind the blonde teacher. His aunt's hand he held with his left one and his plushie was secured in his right.

"Rawr!" the small child 'roared' as he flew around his aunt's head, the woman never letting his hand go no matter how awkward her shoulder was moving.

Behind the teacher, the 9 students had to try their best to not let his cuteness get to them. They had to keep themselves composed, so they could spare themselves another lecture from Glynda.

"Raawwrr- ack! *cough* *cough* -a fly- *hack*-!"

*plop*

[This'll be a tough ordeal...] was the collective thought of the students, who watched as (Y/n)'s beaming face turned into disgusted surprise as a fly flew right in his throat while he was 'roaring', causing him to choke, freeze up and fall face first on the pavement, followed by a faint 'ploof' sound.

"That's what you get for flying around with you mouth open." Glynda of course, assumed her new motherly role and reprimanded the boy, but nevertheless, picked him up and craddled him as a few tears rolled down his cheecks, a big red scrape on his nose and forehead.

"Alright now, big boys don't cry. Come on, let's go clean you up. And we definitely have to get you some new clothes" she said, her nose wrinkling up a bit as she took in the smell of trash stuck to his clothes. "Honestly (Y/n), did you roll around in a trash can? I thought you were a dragon, not a racoon."

With that, the teacher was out of earshot.

So immediately, Ozpin turned to his sheepish looking students.

"Did he crash in a trash can?"

[Yuup..] Team RWBY answered honestly, causing the headmaster to chuckle.

"Ah, like father like son it seems. His father, (F/n), had a similar outcome the first time he tried to use his wings. And the second...as well as the third."

"Sounds like the third time ain't the charm after all, ehehe.." Jaune released a short and awkward laugh.

"Yes it would seem that way. But moving on from trivial matters. Miss Scarlatina." the brunette turned rigid as Ozpin called out her name. "There's no need to be scared, Velvet. You're not in any sort of trouble. Me and Glynda both know you did your best to look after (Y/n). I merely wanted to ask what happened in the city. Did anyone see him? Did anyone try anything...let's say, underhanded?"
