"So, my dad really ended up liking them. And like I knew he would, he took them under his wing and helped them get started."
"Did they record at your house?" Justin asked. He had stopped tattooing for a minute, I was guessing his hand was hurting, it looked labor intense. I know my ribs were hurting.
"They did. But first, I made sure me and Ash finished our Psychology project, and I might add that we got an A."
Justin high fived me and asks, "What songs were recorded at your house?"
I blew air out of my mouth, "Anything before the debut album, and then She Looks So Perfect and Amnesia were recorded there, as well."
"Wow," Justin started, taking it all in, maybe. "Do you realize how much history has been made in your house?" he asked.
"Well, for one, that sounds wrong," I laughed, "and for two, no, I've never really thought about it."
He laughed, "That does sound kind of wrong. But anyway, how did you and Luke get together, I know how you met, but how did you get together?"
"Well, at this point, they were over at my house all the time, and so I had gotten to know them all pretty well. I could tell Luke liked me, but I don't think he really knew that I liked him back, he's pretty oblivious, sometimes. But one day, they were over at my house, practicing for some show they had that night."

I was in the kitchen making some popcorn when I heard Ash say he needed to use the bathroom, so they all took a five minute break.
I heard foot steps behind me, and turned around to see Luke.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Hey." he smirked back. "What smells so good?"
"Popcorn," I said taking it out of the microwave and shaking the bag, "Want some?" I asked.
"Duh." he said walking toward me.
"Just don't tell the others, I don't wanna share with them." I said.
"Oh so I'm special?" he said, winking at me. Luke was starting to get more comfortable around me, resulting in him being more smooth every time I saw him. He was still an awkward giraffe but he was a little more smooth now.
I just smiled and moved the bag closer to him.
"So speaking of popcorn..." he started and turned red.
"'Speaking of popcorn'?" I questioned, smirking, knowing where it was going.
"Speaking of popcorn... do you think you maybe want to, uh, go to the movies tomorrow night?" he asked me.
"Like on a date?" I asked. I had to have clarity.
"Yeah... unless you don't want it to be a date, then it doesn't have to be a date but uh-"
"It's a date." I smiled, looking up at him. The cheesiest grin appeared on his face. "I wanna see Beastly. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, that's cool!" he said, still smiling hard. "I should go, before they find you treating me special with your popcorn, you know."
I smiled. "Call me tomorrow. Let me see your phone, I'll put in my number."
I programmed my number in his phone and as he was walking back to the practice room, looking and smiling at his phone, he tripped over an untied shoelace.
Mr. Smooth was still Mr. Awkward Tall Boy, too.
