“Did he try to pull any moves on you during the movie?” Justin asked, still tattooing.
I laughed, “He did not do the yawn and slip his arm around my shoulders thing, if that’s what your asking. But he did hold my hand.” I smiled at the fond memory.
“Oh, holding hands on the first date, go Luke.” Justin chuckled.
“The best thing was that even though he was nervous, he didn’t show it in sweat. You know what I mean? Like, his hands weren’t sweaty or anything, they were firm, they are firm. Never sweaty.” I said, smiling. “So he drove me home, and walked me up the step to my house, and we just kind of looked at each other, and I know it sounds cliché, but it did happen, he moved, like, a loose strand of hair behind my ear and put his hands around my face and it made me feel so vulnerable, he was definitely in control of the situation. Anyway, he leaned in and I leaned up and he kissed me. It was the perfect kiss. It was the perfect night. And I knew I was going to fall hard.” I told Justin.
“That sounds like one of those dates that happen in the movies, or in books.” he said.
“Huh. Maybe I’ll write about it one day. Probably not… I doubt anyone would care enough.” I said, thinking. “But, yeah, so the next day, I got up and got a shower and got ready and stuff, and I go down stairs and all of them are there.”
“Oh God…” Justin says.
“Yeah, and they all know about the date. And apparently, Luke hadn’t stopped talking about me.”
