The plan was perfect. Ashton and I had been planning it out for a month.

What we did, is when their manager booked the hotel rooms, we made sure he booked Luke’s room for two. Luke would never notice this, because Ashton would get all the keys and keep one of Luke’s.

I flew into LAX and got a cab to the hotel. Ashton made sure Luke was on a coffee run when I got to the hotel. Ash met me in the lobby with the key and I waited to surprise Luke in his room.

I just chilled and played on my phone for a little while, and when he walked in, I just acted nonchalant.

“Oh hey, babe.” I said looking up for a second and then back at my phone. It was really hard to stay calm because I really wanted to jump into his arms in excitement when I saw him.

When Luke didn’t say anything I looked back up and he was blinking like a mad man.

“Oh my God!” he yelled when he saw me. “Come here, oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.” he said holding me tightly. “I missed you so much. Oh my God, I cant believe you’re here.”

I blew my “being nonchalant” when he touched me, and then I lost it.

“I missed you so much.” My voice cracked, and I started crying.

“Oh my God. I can’t believe you’re here. Do you know what it felt like to be away from you for that long?” he asked me, and I looked up at him, still in his arms, for him to continue.

“I felt like my heart was paper. Not beating, not pumping blood trough my body, not even really feeling. It felt like a huge ball of nothing. Like paper.”

“Paper hearts.” I smiled, because I knew what he meant. I hugged him even tighter, not wanting to lose him again.

Really, we just made up for lost time, {;)} and talked all day.

Then the next day I dragged him into Ink Kandy.
