It's been a whole month since I've started my internship and it's honestly better than I could've asked for. By now my excitement probably should've waned but it hasn't. I can't wait until the semester is over so I can just be here all day and with my loved ones of course.Maybe I could just bring them here. No, probably not the best idea. It's not a problem for them to be here, I can have visitors but I get distracted too easily. This is the last place I need to be distracted in. I care for my work too much.
Speaking of work, I just wrapped up a photo shoot with an amateur model from an agency not far from where our building is.
Layla is only 16 but she models like she's a professional.
"Alright I'm gone Justine, my dad's outside."
I smiled warmly and gave her a side hug. "Ok I'll see you soon. Great job today by the way."
She fanned me off. "All thanks to you."
I laughed lightly. "You're too nice."
She smiled before heading to the door.
Once she was gone I went back into my studio and began putting everything away.
Letting out a yawn I checked my phone. I didn't have any messages or missed calls which was weird. "I see nobody loves me today."
When I noticed it was almost eight I began to gather my things and head to my car. I still had homework to do.
As usual I waited until the last minute to start my essay but thankfully all I had was a page or two left to do.
Once I got to my car, deciding I wanted to listen to music while I drive, I put on my favorite song at the moment.
Pressing play and turning the radio up I sung along to Triggered by Jhene Aiko.

Pulling into my parking space I grabbed my bag from the back seat and got out. I locked my doors and briskly walked towards my building.
While walking I heard low laughing behind me causing me to look back.
When I did I saw a guy talking on the phone. He seemed familiar so I squinted my eyes to get a better look.
"Jackson?" I said loud enough for him to hear.
He turned to look at who called him and after a second me smiled and waved.
I waved back with a smile of my own. "Hey."
Saying something to the person on the other line he hung up and walked towards me.
I met him half way and adjusted my bag on my shoulder.
"Justine. How've you been?" He asked putting his hands in his pocket.
"I've been really good. Everything is finally how it should be."
He smiled warmly. "I'm happy to hear that. I can say the same for myself."
"Really how so?"
"I was gonna ask you the same thing." He chuckled. "We never did get to catch up."
