JOURNAL ENTRY TWO |
20190623So, on Saturday night (June 22nd)...this girl went to see The Boyz!! Yes, I can't even believe that happened either because it all seemed so surreal and unbelievable. They were all so talented and amazing, and extremely good looking and beautiful. It's probably safe to say last night was one of the best nights I've had in my life ever.
Which is why in this journal entry I'm going to spew my words out on how it went. I hope you don't mind, I'm having extreme PCD right now even though it's only been a day.
My friend and I got to the venue at around 9 in the morning. It was still a bit early so we had time to look around because the venue itself was connected to a shopping centre and so we killed time by walking around there. We went in at around half past 2 in the afternoon, but my friend and I had different tickets so we were separated inside. The venue wasn't very big so I was really surprised when I was so close to them despite not being in the VIPs.
When they first walked on to the stage, I was so shocked. They were all really tall and they looked so good even at a distance and I had to pinch myself a couple of times to make sure that they really are in front of me yakno? My hands were literally shaking and I couldn't keep my feet and hands still. Eric was so clumsy man, boy tripped over a gazillion times but he didn't learn and kept on jumping around on stage.
The VCR was so skfhdsjkf and it was so... I don't know. I just loved it a lot. Eric was so dramatic in the video and it was so cute uwu. There were times where I wanted beat their ass for being annoying in the VCR HAHAH but they were all so adorable.
There was this one segment where they played games and they were supposed to guess the song by listening to one second of the beginning of the song. Changmin responded to every single one of them (as expected) but bro, when they say Hyunjoon is the biggest ARMY out there, they mean the biggest. Not even a second after a BTS song was played, his hand rose straight up and he was so excited to answer it skjfdskf.
To cut a long story short (because this will take a million words to write if I was to say every single detail), the most memorable songs they performed (to me) were No Air, Get It and Keeper. In Bloom Bloom, where they did the 3:3 choreo thing, them being their own dramatic asses, during Sunwoo's part, Eric, Changmin and Kevin dropped down to the floor skfdjskg. I swear, I would have taken a better recording if I could but we had to sneak our videos or the security will literally ask for your phone and delete your videos and photos. Which is why I lost the first bits of the concert whoops.
OH!! And they performed a cover of Call Me Baby and Cheer Up. But at the start, the hyung line did a bit of talking whilst waiting for the maknae line to get changed. And they were saying stuff about how they could say cheesy lines in Indonesian. Hyunjae was like, "wait, how do you say it?" and asked the crowd and owowowo he was so adorable. The word was "sayang" which means "love/my love" (or in this context, "baby") but there's this Indo, I guess, meme where this kid said this word and pronounced it as "zhheyeenkk" (if you see Kevin's post on Twitter a couple of days back, he was referencing to this) so Kevin was like, "no, this is how you say it". When they were introducing the covers he was like, in English, he said, "you guys may know this as a different name but this time, we're going to call it 'Panggil Aku Seyeng'" which directly translates to "Call Me Baby" and your girlie doubled up in laughter skhfdskg.
When the fan project video started rolling, I was on the verge of crying. It was so touching and my heart melted. The boys were watching it so intently and paid it so much attention I went uwu. My tears went loose when Chanhee started to talk afterwards, saying his thank yous and everything. Eric was so sweet, he asked if the people at the back were okay because of how long they stood. Kevin and Jacob's hit me most because they both said it in English and I didn't have to wait for the interpreters to translate so I could hear their fondness and sincerity. So basically that's how I ruined my face that night.
