They entered on a fine dine restaurant while holding each others hand.
"Reservation for Alden Richards"- Alden said to the receptionist.
Agad namang napangiti si Maine sa narinig.
Nagpareserved pala siya para sa dinner namin.
"This way sir, follow me."- the receptionist answered with a polite smile and lead them to their table.
The restaurant is quiet big and elegance, and it's fully airconditioned.
"What do you want for dinner Maine?"- he asked when the waiter gave them the menu.
A simple asked for what she want to eat make her heart melted again.
She smile while looking at the menu.
"Let's try their Grilled Lobster with Cilantro-Chile Butter"- she said with a sweet smile.
"Oh sure."
After they done placing their orders, Maine immediately started a conversation.
"I didn't know na sa ganito ka eleganteng restaurant pala tayo mag didinner."- she said trying to lessened the awkwardness.
"Syempre naman, first date natin ngayon, kaya dapat lang na sa ganitong klaseng lugar kita dalhin."- he said staring deeply into her eyes.
Date?!
"You mean we're really dating? I mean....
"Yes"- he simply answered.
His eyes into her made her feel self-conscious. She wanted to escape for a moment. Bumilis ang tibok ng puso niya at lumakas ang kabog ng dibdib niya, pakiramdam niya'y naririnig na iyon ni Alden
"Excuse me Alden, I think I need to use a washroom."- she said and immediately made her way to the washroom.
She really need a moment to composed herself, dahil kung hindi ay malamang na sisimplang nanaman ang katinuan niya at baka masira pa ang gabi nila kung sakaling magsalita pa siya sa oras na iyon.
She laced her hands in the faucet spoute and it automatically released the water as it sensored her hands.
Mag hihilamos sana siya ngunit naisip niyang masisira ang make up niya kaya agad niyang pinunas ang kamay niya sa handkerchief na kinuha niya sa handbag niya.
She sighed and looked at her reflection on the mirror.
"Relax, kaya mo yan Maine."- she calmed herself. "ikaw ang may gusto nito, kaya dapat panindigan mo, okay lang na ipakita mo sakanya ang tunay mong nararamdaman, besides yun naman ang plano mo in the first place, okay lang yan."
Ilang beses pa niyang kinumbinsi ang sarili niya na okay lang ang lahat, na okay lang na makita ni Alden kung anong tunay niyang nararamdaman bago siya nagdesisyong lumabas.
"Why do girls take so much time in the washroom?"
Her heart skipped a beat again when she saw Alden in front of her, crossing his arms while leaning on the vacant wall in front of ladies room.
"I'm sorry."- she answered and looked down.
"Come on. I'm just asking Maine, nagtampo ka nanaman diyan. Halika na nga."- he said and held her hand papunta sa table nila.
Hinayaan naman niya itong hawakan ang kamay niya at sumabay sa paglakad habang titig na titig parin sa mga kamay nilang magkahawak na tila kinukuryente siya.
