Day 22-Wolf Bite

I woke up from a bad dream and saw moonlight pour through the window. The dream was about Adam and it was a weird nightmare. Instantly, I checked the time on my phone and it showed 2:30am. I was wide awake. I threw the covers off of me and got up. My feet led me over to the window. I looked out and smiled. Along with the snow, I saw the full moon high above in the sky. I scanned the yard and at the edge of the woods I saw a black wolf.

I stared at the wolf in awe. It just stood there not moving. A few minuets later three small black wolves joined the big one. The mom wolf and her pups ran out into the yard and stopped in the middle. They all sat down, looked up at the sky, and howled. My smile grew bigger as I watched them run back towards the woods. Then my smile faded as I saw a gray wolf come out and attack one of the pups. The other wolves attacked the gray one. I watched and eventually the black wolf walked away with her two other pups.

I snapped out of it and walked away from the window. I was pacing back and forth thinking about wolves and werewolves. I stopped pacing and rushe over to the desk. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started writing random song lyrics to a song titled 'Wolf Bite.'

It's another bad dream

Poison in my blood stream

I'm dying but I can't scream

I placed the pen down and went back to bed. I smiled and knew that dad would like to use that as a song. I said a silent prayer in my head for dad. Then I yawned, closed my eyes, and fell back asleep.
