The trip to Sweden was one they were all excited for. Stockholm after all, was a beautiful city. In need of a break the group went sightseeing. Their fame, however had already broken out into what's called Beatlemania. They were constantly bombarded with screaming people.
"C'mon Ringo, we'll just take this side street. Run!""My foot's stuck!"
The boys, trying to pull Ringo's foot from the cobble, had their eyes locked on the mass of shrieking fans just a few feet before them.
"Godspeed" John whispered before joining the rest of the band in sprinting off into the distance.
Finally at a clearing, they collapsed, breathing erratically. Ringo, who wasn't one for exercise, was a heap on the floor.
"Blimey, I had no idea we were so big. They love us." Paul stated looking at the group."Don't let it get to our heads, or we'll never write a hit again." John said dimly pacing around and then motioning his hand to get the boys moving again.
After 3 hours of recording, everyone was exhausted. Same songs over and over again, the band wasn't one to rehearse, they quite disliked it.
"Let's grab a bite huh?" John said nudging Paul."What? You know all the good swedish restaurants in the area?"
"Shut up. It's boring here."
"We still have a few hours."
"I know, let's go." John pulled Paul by the arm leading him quickly out of the studio unbeknownst to the the rest of the band and their producer.
He took him to one of the staircases in the back of the building, when it could be seen through the little window by the stairway, that it had started to rain.
"Hey.""Hey." Paul replied leaning, against the banister.
"I missed you."
"What'd ya mean, we've just seen each other?"
"No I mean, we've been busy."
"I guess. It's all for the greater good though isn't?"
"Mhm." John mumbled leaning closer to Paul, playing with his hair.
Paul looked up at him and moved to give him a peck on the cheek.
"They're probably wondering where we're at?"
"Granted." John answered. "Let them."
"You really want to go out in the rain."
"Of course! It's magical."
Rolling his eyes, Paul followed him down the stairs and out of the studio.
"Here look! They've got soup!""Oh yes." Paul said holding John's hand discreetly under their coats.
The place was warm, contrary to the chilly outdoors. Paul was shaking from the wet but comforted by John's hand on his back and the smell of food. They sat down and ordered.
"How is it??""It's good." Paul replied slurping up some more soup.
Looking at the corner of his eye he saw the clock, realizing they've been gone at least 2 hours. Rather than let Paul know, and worry him, he let him finish his meal in peace. They would be fine without them.
