LEA
I left at around 4 ng hapon para magpunta sa university na papasukan ko. Hopefully, makahanap agad ako ng teacher.
The university is quite wide. I can see many students walking around the campus. Yung iba naman, nakaupo lang. Probably, tapos na yung class nila.
I went inside the Administration Office to see the DEAN personally.
“Hello, good afternoon.” I said as I saw him. I shake hands with him then sit.
“Hello, Lea. Welcome.” He said warmly.
“You know me?” I asked.
“Yeah. Your dad is one of our biggest sharer here in the university. And he already told me about your agenda here.” He explained.
I smiled. Si Dad talaga.
“Okay then. If that’s the case, meron na bang available na teacher for me?” I asked.
“Actually, I’m on my way to a meeting kasi that’s what I am going to tell them.” He said. “But I already have someone in mind. He’s one of the best teacher here in the campus.” He said.
I smiled, “That’s great. When will I see him, then?” I asked.
He stood up, “Maybe tomorrow kasi you’re both going to discuss the conditions and such na needed ninyong pag-usapan. I’ll tell him first about it.” He said then smiled.
I stood up sa well, “Okay then, sir. Thank you so much.” I said.
“You’re welcome, Lea. I’ll go ahead na, ha?” he said then I bid goodbye.
Naglakad lakad muna ako dito sa university. Actually, Gerard’s studying here. He’s first year college, getting fine arts. He really wanted to be a singer.
“Ate!” I heard someone called me. I looked back and it’s Gerard. He runs toward me and give me a peck on my cheeks.
“Oh bakit?” I asked.
“Tutal nandito ka naman, watch me perform ate. Doon sa theatre room. Rehearsals namin for the event next month.” He said.
Hindi na niya akong hinintay na makasagot dahil hinila na niya ako papunta sa theatre room. The room is wide. Siguro, parang gymansium. Maraming mga tao, and most are girls.
“Ate, dito ka ha. Watch me perform.” He said then left. I saw him run papunta sa likod ng stage.
I sit down then looked everywhere. I saw a chart near from my sit. Out of curiosity, I looked at it and found out that this chart contains the whole staff of the school, including the teachers.
I looked at it and one of the teachers somehow caught my attention.
"Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac.” I whispered.
I chuckled, “What a long name.” I said then went back to my sit. I saw Gerard, standing next to the keyboard, smiled at me.
I smiled and showed a thumbs up while mouthing, “I’m watching. Do good.”
The music started and everyone just started clamoring. Rehearsals pa lang pero, lakas na nila magpakilig agad.
They are singing opm musics for their event. Nice.
I suddenly miss my crew and staff to the musical we just finished. They know that I am coming home here but what they didn’t know that I will stay here for quite long.

It’s already 5:55 when they done rehearsing.
