Once my Bestfriend

Pain is My Medicine

I should have been used to the pain, but I wasn't. I limped my way through the halls and to my locker. But it does have a plus side. Ever since I was small I never really felt much emotional pain. I mean I felt it but it was nothing compared to physical pain. Physical pain helped me wash over my emotional pain.

So whenever I felt upset or sad to the point in which my throat felt like it was on fire. You know when you're holding back a cry or anger then it kinda just builds up inside begging you to let it out. So that's the way that I let out my stress and frustration, although I'm not the only one that does it.

Anyways people gave me strange looks but the limp is barely even noticeable, I'm just putting more of my wait on my right side since my left leg is a little swollen from the ankle. I should put ice on it but it was even more swollen yesterday so today isn't that much of a big deal. I drop off my bag and grab my books. Closing my locker behind me I  turn to go to my class and am met with the stares of the squad and some other people in the hallway. I roll my eyes and walk to my class.

I did have many friends here in my earlier years but they either believed Brittany or just didn't wanna get in the middle of it. I would understand if they didn't wanna get on the bad side of anyone from school. Even the quietest person has the darkest secrets and the best revenge, even if you don't know it was them, they're smart and will find a way to make you pay.

Half-way to class someone decided to walk with me. I turn my head and see its Hunter. This is one of my old friends. We used to hang out whenever I was alone since I was the only single friend, we would watch movies and hang out with his friends. We knew each other since we were kids too, our parents are as close as they are with Ryan's parents.

"Blaze," I say simply only glancing briefly at his direction.

"Really Ryder is that how your gonna talk to your best friend that you haven't seen in a year," he says blankly.

Yeah, I saw him about a year ago when he went down my way for some reason we caught up cuz I had nothing against him but just as fast as he found me he lost me. I couldn't let him know everything that was going on.

Out of nowhere, he grabbed me by the hips surprising me and making me drop my books.  He twirled me around and then gave me a big bear hug. I hugged him back because he's one of the reasons I came back. Once he put me back down was when I noticed how dead silent it was, but there's nothing much to it. He's one of the popular guys from school he doesn't show much affection.

I roll my eyes "whatever" I say as I crouched down to get my books.

"So I leave school one week and I come back to a surprise, the school must love me, wait until the others find out," he keeps rambling as we walk down the hallway. I just smile missing this the last couple of years.  Just listening to him I find out I have some classes with him and the rest of my crew.

I walk through my first two periods with Hunter. Then in my second period do I find another one of my friends Mason. I was walking to the back of the classroom when I was pulled into his lap and hugged really tight. At first, I tensed but then relaxed into the hug. Then slapped him in the back of the head for doing that. I sat next to him and we decided that all of us where gonna catch up over ice cream in the afternoon. After the second I had the next 2 periods with him and my other friend Alex. Third period is PE and once I saw him I snuck behind him and jumped on his back. He quickly regained balance after the impact though.

His reaction was different though it wasn't lovey-dovey like the others. It was ' BITCH YOU LEFT ME AND NOW YOUR GONNA PAY'. He dropped me on the floor to which I landed on my butt because my ankle is still slightly swollen. I jumped right back up and ran behind Mase. Until he finally caught me and squeezed the life out of me.

"I missed you so much," he smiled into my hair. He let me go then smirked, "wait until Xander finds out your back."  My eyes widen at the thought of him knowing I'm back.

"I'm gonna die," I say with my eyes widened.

*whistle*

"Okay today we are gonna partner up in three's and gonna work together to go through an agility course," the coach explains. We're outside on the field and there are different obstacles. I smirk and look back at the guys they smirk right back at me. Almost every weekend we would do something that worked on our team-building skills. Paintball, capture the flag, sports games, video games, etc.

We did this one time at camp, yes we went camping one summer to see how it would be. And because my friends were going on a couples trip, they asked if I wanted to go but who would want to go and be the third wheel. Anyways I had a lot more fun there then I would have had in there couples trip.

*skip to the after school*

Hunter was taking me back home and on the way, we picked up Lexi from school. Jackson is gonna come in a while from his first day of college.

"So Lexi you have a boyfriend yet?" Hunter asks teasingly to her.

She blushes a little and shakes her head no. He raises an eyebrow at that and turns to me. I just smile and shake my head slightly. She had a little guy crush back at our old home but we kinda had to move back so all they could do is call each other and facetime.  I don't mind because I know the kid, but if he hurts my little sister imma... nvm.

A/N: GUESS WHO IS BAACK so I've been having some homework
to complete seeing as this is my first year of high school

but you don't care about that. Imma try to write more and update as soon as possible love YOU ALL!!!
