Once my Bestfriend

Beach Day!!!

The weekend came faster than I had expected with not as much drama, but there where still stares and people whispering. With one of my friends at my side always the boys didn't dare to come near me. The guys didn't leave me alone all week, I didn't mind seeing as I hadn't seen them in so long. We talked and caught up the most we could. But there was a lot still to tell. 

I woke up early Saturday to Lexi running through the house getting her things ready for the beach. Jackson groaning telling her to stop running because it was still too early. I smile listening to them argue. I stretch and get out of bed.Cleaning my room, I change, then get my bag ready for the beach. Heading to the restroom I do my business and brush my teeth. Walking out I hear no more arguments and no running. I walk out my room carefully with my things looking both ways before going downstairs to see Jack and Lex eating cereal peacefully. I'm not surprised, sometimes I feel they are more related than I am. 

Lex is wearing denim shorts and a black shirt with a white rose on it. Jack is in a grey tank top and black cargo shorts. I am wearing a black tank top with light blue denim shorts.

"Morning ," I say while fixing myself a bowl of cereal.

"Morning sleepy head," Jack says while getting up to wash his dish.

"you guys ready for the beach today?"

"YES I got everything in my bag and I put everything in the car. All we need is your bag and Jacks." Lex says practically exploding with happiness.

"I need to pack a few more things and I'm done," Jack answers putting the dish away and walking out the kitchen. 

We finish eating and get the rest of the things in the car. 

We're on our way to the beach- baby boy(Alex) he's more childish so it kind of fit.

Ok we are about to leave

I get in the drivers side as Jack and Lexi argue about the music until they settle on Imagine Dragons. They sing, basically yelling, along with the lyrics getting the attention of the cars on the road. I shake my head and join in jamming to Sucker for Pain. 

Half an hour later we arrive. But neither of them notice since they are so into the song.

"I've been waiting to smile, eh been holding it in for a while eh. " Jack sings.

"Take you with me if I can , been dreaming of this since a child" I follow looking at him. 

"And I know its hard when you're falling down, and it's a long way up when you hit the ground." Lex rocks in the back looking at both of us. "But get up now, get up, get up now. And I know its hard when you're falling down, and it's a long way up when you hit the ground"

We our hearts out in the last part. "

We bow then laugh at each other. I hear a knock and look out my window to see a confused yet amused looking Hunter.  We get out the car and greet Hunter and Mason who where outside. They help us take the things to the beach where they had set up.

"Remember the last time we came here?" Hunter asks me as we take the cooler and bags down to the beach. 

The memory flashes in front of my eyes. 

I knew this was going to be the last time I go out with them. So I tried to make it the best day ever. We woke up early and got ready. I packed everything and made sure Alexandra was  ready. We met them at the beach, but it was still to early to go into the water so we where hanging out in the sand. Alex and Lexi where making sand castles while the rest of us where playing volleyball. Hunter and I against Xander and Mason.

I jump to spike the ball when I hear a scream. I fall and look around to see Lex run from the sand castle. I get up and run to her side. "what happened " I ask kneeling down to her height.

"It moved and jumped out the sand!" she exclaimed.

I turn to look at Alex for an explanation but he was looking at something in the sand with Xander and Mason. Hunter stays with Lexi while I walk to see what they're looking at. Once I get there Xander holds me back from the waist.  I look at him puzzled. He nods down to the sand where there is a small crab.  Alex tries to get it into a bucket but the little critter just moves away.  I get an idea and move away from his hold. I grab the other bucket and go on the other side of the crab. When it backed up from Alex I scooped some sand along with the tiny creature. Quickly I ran down the beach to let it go farther from where we were. I carefully slid it out the bucket and made sure it was okay. Then ran back. 

When I got back Lexi was on Masons back and looked at the floor scared. We spent the next hour trying to reassure her it was gone. "But what if theres more?"

"There are," Hunter says. I smack him behind the head with the bucket i had in my hand. 

"your not helping," I glare. 

"But its true," he yelps as I hit him again.

I go to Alex that is currently carying her on his back. "They won't hurt you if you don't mess with them. That little one was just scared because someone packed them into your sand castle." I say sending a glare to Alex. 

"Hey its not my fault he didn't say anything . I thought it was just sand in the bucket."

"Are you sure they won't snap at me?"  Lex whispers.

"Yes" I whisper back. She jumps of Alex's back hesitant but does it.

Once she see's no danger she drags Alex back to the castle. 

I smile as a recall the memory.

Even now Lexi still looks around where she steps when we go anywhere sandy. 

Once we are done getting all the the things out. The guys set up the volleyball net while I organize the things since they are all cluttered. Lex gets all the supplies for her epic castle she has set to make today. This time she has two helpers Alex and Jack. 

Once we're all set Lexa drags her minions right behind her. I lay down in one of the beach chairs trying to take a nap in the sun while Mason and Hunter play. I fell asleep under the warm rays of the sun. When I feel a shadow loom over me. 

I open my eyes to see someone I did not want to see.
