"Jyn, he knows who you really are. Once a secret like that is revealed, it cannot be hidden again."

"You're coming back for me, right? You promise?"

"Here, take this."

Jyn was handed a small blaster.

"Go! Run and hide, Jyn!"

Jyn ran towards an old, shell turret and dived for cover. She could hear the laser firing all around her, the screams, and the explosions. Jyn peered out from her hiding spot and found Saw among the fighters. He was facing Reece Tallent, one of their own, the betrayer. Reece was the one that had somehow found out Jyn's true identity and sold them out to the Empire.

She crouched lower and watched Reece shoot Saw. Jyn bit her lip so she wouldn't cry out. Saw was bleeding and she couldn't tell where he had been hit. Before Jyn could ruin her cover, Saw shot Reece in the heart.

There was another explosion coming from Jyn's right side. The Empire was going to blow up the factory!

She frantically searched for Saw and the others. Jyn emerged from her hiding spot in time to see Terton and Darred half-carrying injured Saw to the ship.

Jyn tried to call out, but her throat was dry and nothing came out. She watched as the ship left the spaceport leaving her stranded.

She had been abandoned...again.
