A/N:
Put away those pitchforks and torches people, I'm Back!!! Actually... please put away all weapons or objects you have gathered to beat me into being a good Author-Sama because I can tell you (from experience) you will not break me with pain of any sort... it's been tried and it's done failed(mind over matter is a good thing to practice... and I'm stubborn... brick walls take lessons from me in stubbornness... you get the point). ON WITH THE SHOW!!!
Alex's POV:
Once my interrogation over and done with, I was taken to my room where I met up with Luna, Orion, and - to my utmost surprise and shock - my childhood friend, Samantha. Samantha still hasn't quite explained how she got here, but I am glad that I'm not alone. I mean I knew Luna and Orion were here but it's not like they changed their entire species like I did.
Apparently I was supposed to go on a tour, but when Private Parrot heard that me and Samantha knew each other, he decided to take us both to the Principal's Office... no, really! Samantha claims to have suffered mild amnesia since she woke up outside the base with a bad bump on her head... but I know that look in her eyes, she's hiding something. That being said, I also know that she's not the type to lie for no reason. I'll leave it be for now, she'll tell me when she's ready. Back to the present, supposedly the principle is going to explain some things to me and make me a proposition. Now I'm just waiting outside these gigantic doors to enter... that was about an hour ago.
"Seriously, I was the one called here. Why am I getting the silent treatment?" I sigh. "Private Parrot and Samantha went in an hour ago! What's taking them so long?"
"Tch, and I suppose you'd rather go back to Interrogation?" Luna asks raising her eyebrow.
I simply look at her before sighing and leaning against the doorframe. While doing so, I look around and notice that there's still a lot of mon's staring at me... they've been doing that a lot on the way here and I don't think it's a friendly 'who's that Pokemon' going through their heads. Thankfully I also noticed that there's a decorative overhang of sorts above the door on the way here.
"Right. Well, if they insist on making us wait, I'm gonna take a nap." I say mentally mapping the route to my chosen resting place.
"I'll wake you up when they get here." She sighs. "As usual."
"Thanks."
With that I leap up to my first hand hold and begin climbing, being careful not to scratch the decorative surface with my untrained claws. I reach my destination and pull myself up. Once there I instinctively curl up and yawn like a cat pokémon before drifting off to sleep, too tired to care or think about my inhuman sleeping position or how natural it felt.
***************************************************************************************
I woke to an angry Parrot yelling in my face about disinfectant and biology for some reason. I close my eyes and sigh before jumping down to the floor and landing in a crouch. Apparently I also surprised the Parrot because he flew into my arms shortly after with the ladder he was on crashing to the ground... I really shouldn't... but since when has that stopped me?
"Wow, Private Parrot. You wanted me to sweep you off your feet... errr... paws, all you had to do was ask me on a date!" I say putting on my best innocently oblivious smile. "I mean, I'm not technically into the same gender, but I don't see the harm in going on a friendly outing."
"PUT ME THE DOWN YOU IDIOT! DID YOU HEAR A SINGLE WORD I SAID UP THERE?!?!" he screeched.
As he screamed at me his face was red even through the fur and I hope it was from anger though, I'd hate to break his heart so soon after meeting the guy. Maybe I should let him down easy? But how to-oh look, he's done squawking. I put him down and start walking towards the now open door before he stops me with his hand on my shoulder.
