Chapter ten❱ To say these people were beautiful would be an understatement. They were gorgeous and they had an aura of authority. It was imitating yet mesmerizing and I couldn't tear my eyes away. Everything about them was just so captive, like the beautiful eyes that stared in mine. The boys eyes never left mine, neither did mine.
"Thea, Alec is your new fiancé" that's when I snapped out of the eyes that were locked with mine and onto to what was happening. I looked at Bruce with a confused look on my face.
"What do you mean, my new fiancé?" I asked, still a little confused. Bruce smiled widely at me before looking over at Alec.
"I mean that You and Alec are now engaged, you two should get to know each other, have a dinner date. Do you have anything plans, Alec?" Bruce asked Alec. He looked over at Bruce before shaking his head. Bruce didn't mind to ask me before making plans for me.
"I actually do have somewhere to go" I soon spoke. Everyone's eyes snapped at me, giving me a questioning look all except Bruce. His dark eyes were shooting daggers my way. "I'm sure you can cancel, right Thea?" Bruce asked. His voice sounded soft but his eyes were doing the opposite. Three pairs were now staring at me, cornering me.
"There's no need to cancel, I'm sure we can reschedule for another day?" The tall dark boy, Alec, asked as he locked eyes with Carolina, Bruce and finally with me. His voice was deep and it sent chills down my spine.
"I'm sure you two can meet sometime next week. That'll be alright with us" Carolina said as she nodded at Bruce. She looked at him as to wait for an approval. Bruce squeezed my arm before bringing back his fake smile and nodding.
"Thea is going to make it to me somehow right?" Alec asked me as he smiled smoothly. I smiled back and nodded. "Right. Well I actually need to go to that somewhere now. It was nice meeting you Carolina, and Alec" I say as I smile at them before turning around and leaving. I look at kace, who was standing behind me with a blank face, and nod at him.
"Kace, let's go" I say and I don't get into my car but onto the suv. I quickly get on the passenger seat and wait for Kace. He soon got in and gave me one of his looks.
"Where are we planning to go, Ms Nightingale?" He asked teasingly with knowing eyes. He knew I didn't have anything planned but he also knew I didn't have any meaning to get to know Alec Armstrong and never planned to. I didn't want to get to know him nor I ever wanted to have a dinner date with him to get to know him better.
"We, are going to leave out of here because I don't want to be here any longer" I say and wave him off. I don't see what he does because I turn away and look out the window. I've noticed that the Armstrong's were still there and they seemed to enjoy Bruce's company by the way they were laughing, especially Carolina Armstrong. She had made a move and put a hand on Bruce shoulder, rubbing it softly. Bruce didn't seem to notice and keep on talking, they soon started to fade away when we left.
"Do you have any special place you would like to go? Like a friends house or boyfriends...?" He asked and I could practically hear his curiosity dripping down. I rolled my eyes and look over at him, with a smirk.
"You could have asked me if I had a boyfriend earlier you know, so you wouldn't look so desperate to know now" kace looks over at me for a second before looking forward again.
"I could have, but then again why would I? I was only asking because I'm trying to take you somewhere. Ms Nightingale" he asked seriously with a look over at me. I shake my head at him but don't argue with him, my smirk disappearing.
