"Amelia!!! Hurry Up!!! Drew is expecting us in 15 minutes!!!" Jessica has been freaking out for hours now after Drew had left. She's been trying on various dresses trying to find the perfect one, whereas I have stuck to one. I was wearing a red dress that stopped right between my mid thigh and my knees. I had curled my hair to get a beachy wave in it, and I paired it was nude heels.

I had looked out my window earlier at the Wilson Residence, and it didn't look like it was going to be a casual get together. There were a lot of expensive looking cars in their driveway, and there were people dressed in nice shirts and dress pants.had been dressed up a bit. I was kind of happy I knew that now so I could have enough time to get ready without showing up underdressed.

After applying the last touch to my make up, I pulled myself away from the mirror, and made my way downstairs to join everyone. Jessica was wearing a black lacy dress that stopped at her mid thigh and Daniel kept it simple with a nice baby blue long sleeved button up and kakis pants.

We were waiting for what I assumed was James since he was supposed to come with us. Finally after 10 minutes, princess decided to come down. His black hair was spiked up sloppily and he wore something similar to Daniel, only he had a dark green shirt, dark jeans, and he wore his black converse. Leave it to James to still keep it casual.

"You are not leaving this house looking like that! You'll embarrass me!" Jessica whined. "Seriously?? He looks fine. It's not like they are going to judge him for being a teenage boy. Let's go." I said, walking towards the door. "I swear, I get no respect around here!" She huffed, pushing us aside she could leave first. "I wonder why..." I muttered under my breath earning a laugh from Daniel.

It obviously didn't take us too long to arrive at the house. The boys and I tried to hold back our laughter when Jessica pranced up to the front door like a lioness after her prey. She is absolutely ridiculous... And she was afraid we would embarrass her!

After she rang the doorbell for the fifth time, the door swung open and revealed what must have been Drew's brother. He was really cute. His brown hair was sticking up in random places like he just woke up. Actually, he was still in his pajamas. "Can I help you??" He said, glaring at Jessica. I like him already. "Yes, we were invited over for dinner by Drew?" Jessica said, looking genuinely nervous.

"Yeah, whatever. Come in." he said, his voice sounding raspy. We stepped inside, and only then did he seem to take notice of me. His eyes went wide, and he gulped, looking down at his feet. What was wrong? Was this dress too short??

"I'll show you to the dining room..." He sped out of the room rather quickly. Seriously, was there something wrong with me? "Jim? Who is that?" A woman's voice softly called out. "We have guests. Drew invited them over." The woman had finally come into view, and she was beautiful! This can't be Drew's mom; she doesn't look a day over 30! She had full locks of curly brown hair that went a little past her shoulders and slightly tan skin. "I'm sorry; I didn't know we were expecting visitors! Let me get Drew." She then gracefully went searching for her son.

We were left alone in what I assumed was the dining room with one of Drew's brothers. He looks about my age, so this must be Jim? "You're Jim, right?" I said to him. He jumped a little, but nodded "I'm sorry to ask, and you don't have to answer, but your mom said she wasn't expecting anyone? There are cars parked all out on your driveway?" "Oh, my dad and Drew are having a meeting with some people from work." He said with a small smile. That would explain the cars.

"Where is your restroom?" Jessica asked randomly. "Down the hall to the left." Jim instructed, and she simply waved him off. She is so rude, sometimes. After she had left, the boys seemed to take that as a chance to introduce themselves. Within no time, the awkward fog in the air dissapeared, and there was laughter and jokes being shared. Mrs. Wilson returned with a kind smile. "Dinner is in the oven, and should be done soon! Sorry about the wait." "It's alight!!" My brothers and I said at once. Whew, freaky...

We glanced at one another, and laughed. We all took a seat at the table and started to share stories. It was very nice. I found out that Drew's mom's name was Margaret, and asked me to call her Maggie. She was very sweet and pretty cool as well. For one second, and for only one second, I felt the same way I did when I was with my own mom, but I quickly regretted that comparison. I felt myself starting to tear up, and there was no stopping what was about to happen. "Can I use your bathroom?" I asked Maggie, and she gave me a warm smile, and I listened to her directions carefully.

Of course, with me being me, no matter how carefully I listened, I got lost. I was wondering around for a while looking. My hand was on the handle of a door about to open it. "What are you doing?" I spun around, almost having a heart attack. "Crap! You scared me!" I sighed in relief.

Jim had a wicked smile on his face chuckling at my little episode. "Did you get lost??" He asked, looking at me with amusement glistening in his eyes. I looked down at my feet, embarrassed. "Maybe..." He chucked once again, and then took me by the hand, leading me down the hallway. "Your destination, my lady!" He said in a terrible British accent.

"Thank you, kid sir!" I joked back, smiling widely. We laughed at our silliness, then he left me to check on the others. I entered the bathroom, and tried to relax, and barry all the thoughts surfacing about my mother. I can face this later, but not now. After I had left the bathroom, I had wished that Jim had stayed. I was completely lost once again. I tried to retrace my steps only to run into a wall.

Wait a second... Walls don't wear shirts... I looked up at a very confused yet very handsome face. "Hi..." I said sheepishly.
