CHAPTER 27

Olivia's POV

Tamad na ako. Ayaw ko na. Ganito na lang kami palagi ni Jake. Away, bati, away, bati, and over and over again. Bakit ganoon? Merong mga araw na okay kami, meron din mga araw na hindi. Pero bakit nararamdaman ko na gusto niya, pero pinipigilan lang? Ayaw kong manguna baka kasi masaktan na naman ako ulit. When I fell in love Jake, it was always a gamble. I have to know my cards and make sure that when I throw the dice, hoping that luck will be on my side.

I'm in our room, just lying down in bed and thinking about everything. Is this still worth it? No! Lalaban pa rin ako hanggang sa huli. After everything that I've done and sacrificed for, it won't go to waste just like this. And because I am so tired, I didn't noticed I fell asleep.

*DREAM*
Malakas ang ulan sa labas and I'm here in our school library, near the old, wide, wooden windows. I'm still doing my notes and studying for finals. I have to finish studying if I want to pass second year and be a third year bussiness management student next year. Mahirap din itong kinuha kong program, gusto kasi ni Daddy na ako ang mag mamanage ng company soon when I graduate and that's a big responsibility.

Nasaan kaya si Jake ngayon? It's friday and sa pagkaka-alam ko meron siyang class at 3pm. What time is it? Nagthunder na sa labas and all and it starts to darken already. I look at my watch and noticed na 5pm na pala! Damn! I need to pack my things, baka mag-alala si Jake. We planned to have dinner at 6:30 pm or so and the closing time of the library is 5:45 pm so it's okay for me to leave since malapit na akong matapos sa notes ko.

As I went outside, I checked my phone if I have any messages from Jake or even phone calls. Pero wala. Hmmmm.... nasak kaya iyon. I should text him to check if he's alright and ready.

Hey love, where are you now? I'm done studying. Let's meet soon. Going to the atrium. :)

While walking, napatingin ako sa labas, grabe ang ulan, baka magbaha mamaya dahil parang hindi titigil ito. Pero wala paring reply galing kay Jake.

Pumunta nalang ako sa atrium ng school namin sakali nandoon sya, pero wala. Nasaan ka na ba Jake? Maraming missed calls na akong nagawa pero wala. 5:30 pm na and magdidilim na, lalong umiingay ang ulan. Wala akong choice kundi itry ang Square Garden ng school namin. Usually dito nagrerelax and tumatambay ang students pero bahala na, baka lang nandoon siya.

After 5 minutes ng fast paced na paglalakad, meron akong nakitang anino sa center ng Square Garden, baka si Jake yun! Agad ko kinuha ang umbrella ko sa bag at agad sana papalapit sa kanya nung na notice ko dalawang tao ang nag-uusap at kinilatis ko kung sino iyon. Nakita ko si Jake ang lalaki pero napahinto ako sa kinatatayuan ko na merong babaeng kay ganda ang nagpakita sa ilalalim ng payong. Nag-uusap sila ni Jake ng maigi, their actions shows that they're close and known each other. The girl touched the arm of Jake and somewhere in those beautiful eyes of Jake, I saw a glint of spark? Hope?

Immediately, naglakad ako ng madali and basically went to them. Hindi ako napakali sa nakikita ko ngayon.

"Jake!"

They both looked at me, Jake with shock and the girl with curiosity.

"Olivia?"

Bakit ganoon? Hindi ba siya excited makita ako?

"I've been looking everywhere for you. Kanina pa ako nagtext at nagmissed call but you didn't even reply and answered."

"I'm sorry......kasi-"

Naputol ang sasabihin ni Jake nang biglang nagpakilala ang babae. Ano ba yan, hindi naman niya pinatapos si Jake sa kanyang sasabihin!
