CHAPTER FIVE: HEARTSTORM!!!

Spock wasn't used to feeling silly. It was illogical. But sometimes it was hard when he was in an outfit like this Prince costume. He had a tall blue velvet hat with a brim winging out to the sides, a large white ostrich feather on one side with purple trim and one corner went down slightly over his eye because of the tilt. His pants were way too tight and also made of a space age velour-satin blend accentuating his rippling Vulcan legs in a nice way...not too naughty, but also not exactly polite. He wouldn't wear these to a Vulcan tea dance if you know what I mean!

He was wearing a loser shirt that was all big and baggy and in bold colors. After researching the 13th century earth they discovered that textile manufacturers were actually known for more diversified wears than was originally thought, he'd read on the Wikipedia page on the ships mainfraim, somewhere. And because it was bolder his vest wasn't as bold, but subtle with silver dots all over the space age black velour quilted fabric with buttons that matched. And his boots were like that too, but more colorful and made out of orc hide instead of cow.

"What do you mean, my love?" asked CinDeanna? She was very confused, obviously.

"As I said, we are in a simulation resulting from a holographic fantasy gone wrong and I'm here to save you. If this upsets you, I am braced for your psychic blastforce but it is imperitive and logic dictates we depart asap...to um....(this isn't working! She's staring blankly ahead!) ...

"...there is another ball that we should go to. It's over here, follow me!" And Spock began walking toward the doors he'd just entered. Although he'd taken a risk to see if he could psychically slap her out of it with blunt force honesty, it hadn't worked so it was time for Plan B: Diversion and Distraction! As a Vulcan he has those strong legs and pecs and could easily just pick her up, but he didn't want to hurt her. Sometimes he didn't know his own strength and being different breeds of entities made the risk all the greater!!

"Ooh! A ball?! How exciting! Whatever shall I wear? I think I'd like to wear something just like what I have on right now but maybe in green to match my eyes!" (Even though her eyes were brown it was part of the slow evolution toward insanity and loss of identity for the sad sad starship counselor thought Spock. He'd seen this before because of a rare disease he had that makes him psycho as he aged into his senior years.) She began pulling him toward the castle.

Boy, this wasn't going to be easy. Now he'd have to help her pick out an outfit and there weren't very many ballgown choices on a starship to practice developing any fashion sense with. Plus he was a man and you know how that goes!

"Yes. Yes...I will help you....somehow (ahem) to pick out a pretty dress and you will look like a princess. I mean, you are a princess, but you know what I mean." Said the Prince who was really Spock.

CinDeanna loved when Spockprince was so nervous, she thought it was cute that her beauty could dazzle him like that, and she was so looking forward to their wedding in the near future. She was sure she loved him so much, and yet...suddenly she had a weird feeling!

But something was off about him, he seemed to just be standing there unsure of what to say, which was not usual for a Prince who must always be regal lest his peons challenge his authority and start an uprising that could lead to a beheading like in France in ancient Earth. She'd heard about that in Betazed school because they were open minded and learned about all kinds of cultures, unlike the homogenius Klingons. With this awful feeling and her love for the Prince, she needed to be able to help him and stave off the terrible tragedy that she somehow knew was on its way!

After 20 minutes of staring at him he started to look uncomfortable and she wished she knew what he was thinking. She tried to peer into his mind but found herself blocked out! Almost as if another magic was at work! She looked around for her Princess Fairy God Mother Lea but didn't see her. Where was she when she needed help?!
