Chapter Twenty Nine / SanFran

Kiley's POV

"Nick?" I called down the hallways and saw him peek his head out of my room. "Can you come here?"

He sauntered down the hallway with a small smile on his face, following me into the living room.

"What's up?" He asked and sat next to me on the couch, I turned to face him and prepared myself for this conversation.

"So Nick, I think I'm going to move to San Francisco." I said and Nick's face dropped. He didn't say anything but looked down at his hands.

"Really?" He said quietly and I already felt the guilt in my chest.

"Nick I cant stay in LA. You don't understand how difficult it really is. I love you so much but I'll only be a little ways away." I said slowly and he just looked at me.

"I don't really know what to say... " He just sat there. "I need a minute."

He got up and walked into the backyard. I felt like i had just ruined everything. I really hoped Nick would understand and support me. It wasn't like I was breaking up with him. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.

Of Nick couldn't support me in this then how could he support me at all? This is for my own wellbeing and if he couldn't understand that I didn't know what to do.

I decided to just head into my room and wait for Nick to calm down. I browsed around on my phone, anxious to talk to him. I tried to listen to some music to chill out but of course a PM song came on and made me annoyed. So I called Genny.

"Hello?" Her soft voice answered.

"Hey Gen, do you have a minute?" I asked, not wanting to interrupt if she was busy.

"Yeah what's up?" She asked and I took a deep breath. "You alright?"

"I don't know. I think I'm moving away from LA." I said and she was silent.

"Why?" She simply asked.

"I just need a break from everything. I need to be my own person for a bit." I said and she was silent for a few minutes.

"I understand. If it's what's best for you then I support you 100%. Have you told Nick though?" She asked and I instantly felt a little bit relieved.

"About that... yeah I just told him but he needed a few minutes alone so I don't know how he feels." I said.

"Oh boy... whatever you do, do not let him change your mind. This is your choice and your life and you cannot change it for some boy. If he doesn't support you he isn't the one honey. I'm so sorry but I have to go, call me later okay? I love you." She rambled.

"Okay love you too." I said and with that she hung up. She was right and I knew it even though I was scared of it.

A half an hour passed of me just waiting around for Nick when he finally decided to come talk.

"Hey." He said plainly and I just looked up at him. "I'm upset, and sad about this whole thing."

"Why?"

"It feels like you don't care about me." He said and my eyes widened.

Are you kidding me?!

"Nick, this isn't about you-"

"Exactly, you aren't even thinking about how I feel." He said and crossed his arms.

Is this guy pranking me right now or?

"Nick are you kidding me? I feel unhealthy and unhappy in LA and you want me to think about you? Are you mad? This is about my own well-being! I thought maybe you would care about my mental health." I said back and started to get angry. How could he do this to me?

"Kiley obviously I care about you but do you care about me?" He raised his voice and I stood up from my seat.

"Nick this is ridiculous." I said as I paced. "I care about you so much but I know this is what I need to do. I thought you would be supportive of me."

"Kiley, I need you. You can't leave me like this." He said and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Nick. I need you to give me a minute." I said and his face turned angry.

"What do you mean?" He said and I put my hand up as he started to get closer to me.

"I need you to give me a minute." I said sternly and walked back into my room and shut the door.

omggg HEY GUYS!!!!!!

omg it has been soooooo long since I updated and I am so so sorry. I honestly lost all inspiration for this fanfic but I am determined to finish it for you all!

Thank you to everyone who has messaged me! I read all your messages and I just want to say I appreciate them all so much you're all so sweet. Same with comments, I read ll the comments and you guys are so sweet and hilarious lol.

This chapter is kinda crazy bc tbh I don't remember when I wrote this but I knew I needed to publish it for you guys and also in hopes of getting me back into consistently updating. 

Thank you guys for being so patient with me, I promise I will try my hardest to update as much as possible and as fast as possible!
