Chapter Nine / Confessions

"Kiley, you cannot say you don't have feelings for him." Genny said as we sat in the restaurant.

"For real, you are obsessed with him." Ila commented and popped a fry in her mouth.

"I don't know! Guys this is so complicated. I think I have feelings for him but I am so scared." I said and Genny raised an eyebrow at me.

"Of what?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I guess of dating? And that he won't feel the same way." I said and put my head in my hands.

"Kiley! Nick is totally in love with you! He literally would do anything for you. He's constantly at your beck and call. It's in the bag hun." Ila said and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know. We'll see. I probably won't act upon these feelings unless Nick does first. I don't want to make a fool of myself." I said and stuffed my face with fries.

"Ugh. Makes sense." Ila said and shot me a smile.

Nick's POV

"Dude you totally love her." Brandon said as I laid in bed.

"Brandon, love is a strong word." I reminded him  and he rolled his eyes.

"Nick, you can't deny you are totally falling for her! You need to do something about it." He said and sat down next to me.

"B, what if she doesn't like me back though? And then I totally ruin our friendship. I would be crushed." I said and shook my head.

"Nick. Are you blind? Deaf? She's totally extremely into you! I promise." Brandon said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Stop it. I don't know Brandon. I'm so scared that if I ask her out or tell her how I feel then she will get scared and never speak to me again." I said and Brandon just looked at me.

"Play the song for her." He said and I whipped my head up from my phone and looked at him.

"What?! No!" I said and Brandon got up.

"If you don't, I will. Don't even think I wouldn't. I ship you guys so fucking hard I will do anything to see you guys together." He said and left the room.

I could not show her to song. There's no way. I mean it's done but that's so embarrassing.

"Hey Kiley, I wrote a song about how much I like you that I would literally do anything you say. Oh yeah also you looked hot as fuck that night."

Kiley's POV

My phone rang as I was washing my hair in the shower. I grabbed it off the counter and saw it was Brandon.

"Hello? Brandon I'm in the shower." I answered.

"I don't care. I need to ask you something." He said quickly.

"Okay?" I said.

"Do you have feelings for Nick?" my heart skipped a beat.

"Uh- wha- what? B-Brandon what are you talking about?" I asked and he laughed.

"The stuttering... you totally do." Brandon said and I silently screamed at him.

"You CANNOT and WILL NOT say anything to Nick you hear me Brandon?! I will fuck you up." I said and he gasped.

"Damn chill girl. I gotchu. Okay now you can go back to your shower." He said and hung up before I could say goodbye.

I finished my shower and stepped into my room, laying on my bed in just my towel. I stared at the ceiling until my phone dinged.
