Chapter-3 Where to go?

Nandini's Internal Monologue
I'll have to look for an apartment asap! Till then where should I go? A hotel or maybe....

Nandini's thoughts were disturbed by a pat on her shoulder. A tall guy with a well sculpted body stood with a wide grin. It was Harsh. How could she forget Harsh?  Her childhood best friend.

"Oh my god! Harsh? You in Mumbai? When did you come at least you could have called!" complained Nandini.

He didn't let her complete her sentence and gave her a really really tight hug.

Nandini smiled at this sudden gesture.

Harsh- "Come on I did text you that I'm coming today. I even called you but your phone was switched off."

Nandini looked at her phone and realised her phone had a glitch due to being drained in the rain.

"By the way what is this smudged kajal look?A new trend?" laughed Harsh.

"Hahaha no dude it's just yesterday has been tough" sighed Nandini.

"Ah! sad by the way where's your personal bodyguard?" joked Harsh

"I don't care where he is" said Nandini irritatingly

Harsh- "Oh my god looks like some serious shit has happened between the two of you!"

We broke up yesterday sighed Nandini.

Nandini's Internal Monologue

If I say Harsh was shocked it would be an understatement he was spellbounded.

He couldn't imagine two inseparable souls to have broken up. Well a part of him was happy cause he did have a soft corner for her.

Harsh- "Oh that's umm pretty sad, okay so where will you stay now? You stayed at his place so now?"

"I don't know, I'll have to look for an apartment" said Nandini biting her nails.

Meanwhile Manik was going crazy as Nandini's phone was switched off.

"Ughh! Why can't this girl for god's sake pick up her phone! Firstly I don't know where she is and secondly this. Damn!"

exclaimed Manik and punched the wall.

Harsh- "I'm here for a month so if you want you can stay with me?"
