The sea that seperates us
Won't be the hurtle it thinks it is
I've climbed out of my cave
And ran for the bridges that connect us
I can't always see where I'm going
Sometimes it's too dark,
Other times I just don't open my eyes
I can hear your footsteps above me
I can hear mine joining yours in perfect harmony
I don't always know that it isn't real
But I always know that it will be
I climb through this hill like it's nothing
Because no matter what I know you're with me
I can feel you, even if I can't see you
I can hear you, even if I'm not near you
I'm running for the bridges that connect us
And when I can't see past the darkness
There's always a moon somewhere above me
There's always a moon to carry me home
to you
to the moments I've dreamt of for my whole life it seems
To the love my life never thought it would know
to you
my living treasure
