CHAPTER TWO

YOU ARE REDEEMABLE

Waking up the next day I went outside to find Clem and AJ to see what they were doing. Walking to their room that I found by chance and I found...absolutely no one. Oh goodie!

Fine, guess I'll go for a little adventure then and find someone else. I walked around inside for a while until I found this room that had a grand piano in the corner.

"Haven't seen one of them since...dad...played" I sat down and played a chord, surprisingly it worked. "Well I never" placing my hands in the right spots or at least what I thought were the right spots I started to play 'Fur Elise' I think? That's what my dad called it anyway. I hadn't realised someone walked into the room until I hit a key that was out of tune and made me cringe at the sound. It was then I heard someone started to laugh and I spun around to see Marlon leaning against the door frame.

"Yeah Louis needs to fix that" he said walking towards me and sitting himself down next to me. "I didn't know you could play, Louis is gonna love this!" I just shifted feeling a little embarrassed remembering what I said last night.

"Uhhh I wouldn't say I could play exactly, but I try" I nervously laugh and pull at the lobe of my ear. "Does Louis play then? You said he'd love this so I'm guessing he plays?" He just nodded and messed around with the keys not really having any real tune to it.

"Yeah, I'm kinda jealous if I'm honest he's really good. What were playing anyway?" He asked looking at me.

"Oh that? I'm pretty sure it's called 'Fur Elise', it's a classical piece. My dad could play it with his eyes closed!" I said with a laugh but then frowned when I realised I mentioned him out loud again. I felt hand settle on the middle of my back startling me and making me jump.

"Sorry! I just...didn't know what to say...soooo" his awkwardness caused me to laugh making me feel more relaxed and so did he. "It's good to see you smiling, I thought we over stepped yesterday so I was gonna apologise aga-" I cut him off by putting my hand up and shook my head.

"Like I said before, there's no need to. You said that if I don't want to answer then I shouldn't but I did, and that was my choice. So don't apologise for my choices" I told him and everything went silent, it was a bit awkward until he broke it.

"Speaking of...choices. You said that I would've been your choice last night didn't you?" He said with a sly smirk on his face while mine must have looked as red as a tomato because he started to laugh and I joined in too. I looked at him not knowing our faces were inches away from each other and we just stared into each other's eyes for a bit and then we heard a cough coming from behind us.

We broke away so fast that Marlon fell backwards and off the seat making me giggle and who we saw as Willy laughing uncontrollably at the door, Marlon groaned and mumbled something to himself getting up off the floor.

"Willy, what did we talk about coming into the room without knocking?" He pretty much growled at him and Willy ran off laughing.

"You say that but you didn't knock either~" I said to him with my arms across my chest as he playfully rolled his eyes. "Yeah, Yeah I know but he does it at the most...unfortunate times" he said running his hand down his face and I giggled yet again.
