CHAPTER EIGHT

STICK TO THE RIVERSIDE

3rd P.O.V
"Clem!" AJ pats the poor girls shoulder as her body shook in rhythm with her sobs. This would be the tenth nightmare she's had of you and it's only been a week - that's not counting those few nights where she didn't sleep at all -  Clem, as well as the rest of the residents of Ericson's have had their fair share of tears shed and sleepless nights; you could argue that this death would be the worse one they've ever dealt with and they've lost a lot.

"Another one?" Louis came bounding through the door panting and slightly covered in sweat.

He also has had a tough time keeping up his happy-go-lucky attitude and when he does it usually ends up in an argument between him and Violet or him and Willy.

At most Clem would just give him a small smile and a pat on the shoulder as a way of saying 'thanks' but mostly she'd just ignore it, Ruby would try and play along but that only lasted so long before she'd end up crying to Aasim the whole night.

Omar shared with Aasim and Louis one night about how guilty he felt about dragging you into this mess in the first place and that he didn't get the chance to properly thank you for saving him.

Tenn cried immensely, not only for you but for the lost of his sister. Yes, she may have gone all psycho but she was still his sister and up until then he thought she was dead and now - she is indefinitely.

And as for Marlon? He's locked himself in your room. The first few days were hell for everyone especially for Clem and AJ but Marlon had since locked himself in there and has refused to come out unless he needed the bathroom. Omar or AJ would leave food for him outside the door which he'd take, whether he eats it or throws it away is another story.

All in all, that month for the kids of Ericson's has been shit and it's going to take a few more months for things to pick up where it left off... or will it?

~Somewhere in the middle of nowhere?~

I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all~
But I think you're moving too fast- ooooOOoOoOoooo- ACK! The fuck was that for!?" the young guy rubbed his head as he glared daggers into the woman who just smacked him in the exact same place.

"If you don't quit your caterwauling I'll cut your fucking tongue out! My feet are killing me I don't need my head to do the same!" She growls making the other throw his hands up in defence.

"Dayyyyuuuuummmm. Okaaaaaay,  gooooooot iiiiiiitttttttt" he drags out his words for emphasis.

"And can you speak normally? It's pissing me off" she grunts again.

"Doesn't everything piss you off, Kitty?" Another figure not to far in front of the arguing duo sighs at the older of the two; the guy who is probably the same age as 'Kitty' looks over his shoulder with a smirk. "I think the kid was killin' it!" He snorts and carries on looking forward.

"Go fuck yourself Tyler..." she rolls her eyes with a huff and looks away from the guys.

"See! He gets it! Thanks Ty, you're a real one" The same guy from before points at 'Tyler' with a cheeky grin.
