CHAPTER ONE

SOMETHING NEW

Y/n's P.O.V

The sunlight had beamed through the window waking me up.

"Fucking h-hell...why does it feel like I've been banging my head against a wall ughhhh" as I sit up I feel someone leaning on my legs and I look to find AJ. You sweet boy...

I smiled at him as I stroked his head waking him up, he slowly rises and realised I'm awake as he threw his arms around me and then shouted towards the door.

"CLEM! CLEM! Y/n's awake now!" He turns round smiling at me as someone walks into the room.

It was a boy. A pretty tall boy with fare skin, blond hair and blue eyes holding a bow in his hands...well fuck!

MARLON'S P.O.V

I heard AJ shout that, that girl is finally awake and I called to Clementine as she walked with me.

"She's been out for two weeks now...she's probably gonna be pretty shaken up so it's best if you guys are there when I talk with her" I said walking down the corridor not looking at Clementine and she just nodded.

"Don't get me wrong I really appreciate you for letting us stay here but I still don't know if I can trust you alone with them...AJ...he's been through so much and it takes him a while for him to trust others, hence why he bit Ruby and Y/n? She's got a whole story of her own that she hasn't even confided in me to tell yet, I trust her enough to keep AJ safe and he trusts her as well but she seems to keep her distance even with us and we've been travelling together for a bit over a year now. So if she uhhh...freaks out a bit? Then don't hold it against her, she did the same with us when we met her" she told me sounding a little uneasy, I looked at her and her face just screamed 'worry' as her pace quickened and we came to the door.

I walked into the room first and the girl well "Y/n" was sat up straight smiling with AJ, she then saw me and her smile dropped and she visibly became rigid and backed up against the wall. It wasn't until Clementine walked in from behind me and she looked up and seemed to calm down a bit but not all too much.

"It's alright Y/n he helped us out of the car after we crashed it there's no need to be on guard, he won't hurt you I promise" Clementine said slowly stepping in front of me with her hands up as AJ nodded in approval "Yeah there's no need to worry N/n they're really nice people!" AJ beamed and she completely calmed down but she still looked skeptical.

"T-they?" She stuttered.

"Yeah there's a whole group of us here, they're all kids baring in mind but they won't hurt you" I told her and as if on cue Tenn walked in with some bandages and looked at all of us and then his eyes landed on Y/n.

"Tenn here has been patching you and Clem up" I said putting my hand on his shoulder, he sheepishly smiled at her and she returned the favour.

"Thank you very much..." she said and bowed her head a little, Tenn's smile got wider from her reaction and he slowly walked up to her and she moved away from the wall.

"I-I'm just going to redo your bandages, tell me to stop if I hurt you okay?" Tenn spoke softly and she nodded her head. She hissed in pain as he added ointment to her wound and he stopped to look at her but she gave him a signal to continue. As this went on for a moment I caught her staring at me, but looked back at Tenn when I looked at her. Strange girl I thought and then Clementine spoke up.
