CHAPTER SIX

THE ONES YOU LOSE FOR THE LIFE YOU CHOOSE

Y/N'S P.O.V

They practically crashed through the the gates with little to no effort, mostly armed with guns and a big wagon with what looked like a cage most likely to place us in.

Clem and Lily argued back and forth about them taking us as I turned my attention back to Omar and Marlon.

"Okay Omar. Just try not to move much for now, I know it's crappily wrapped I'm sorry" I say in a hushed tone taking glances around us trying to see if there were any people up high who could potentially hurt us in this position, gladly there wasn't as far as I could see.

"It- ugh! It's fine Y/n, at least y-you stopped the worst of it" Omar grits his teeth saying that while he cradled his leg.

I look at Marlon who looks at me and nods in a certain direction. I look over my shoulder and I see Tenn walking out into the open.

"What the hell is he playing at?!"

"Where are they?" He directs at Lily which she counters with trying to convince him to go with them. "I can't. I just want them back. Please." He begs backing up as she begins to corner him.

"You'll be happier where they are." Just as she says this Clem takes a shot at her causing it to just miss her in the process. Lily tries to grab for Tenn again but he backs off even more; just then the bomb Willy and Mitch planted goes off making the horses run off and make the Delta stagger and fall.

I see Mitch run at Lily but she stabs him in the neck and then in the head just for good measure.

"MITCH! Fuck- Marlon go help with the others! GO!" He looks at me but ultimately runs to Violet and Louis while I stay with Omar.

Clem calls us to fall back but I couldn't help Omar fast enough as I see someone out of the corner of my eye. I push Omar off my shoulder and dodge the machete that was swung at us. I fight the guy off as I kicked the machete away from him and then start throwing as many punches and kicks as I could.

"N-NO GET OFFA ME!" I turn to see someone else grab and drag Omar towards the carriage.

"Leave him alone! Don't touch him- OMAR!" As I run towards them I feel something hit me on the back of my head, I fall to the floor before everything goes black.

~7 HOURS LATER~

"Ugh~ if there was one thing I could choose to live without it would be headaches- fuck!" grabbing at my head I slowly sit up, swaying from side to side.

"It'd be pretty bad if you had a head injury then...you wouldn't really know about it" I turn to see Louis sat up against the wall.

"Fair point. Wait where are w- No! Where's Omar? Is he okay and the rest of them? Oh my gosh what happened the others?! Is Tenn okay a-and Marlon?"

"Woah, hold on there let me speak at least~ As far as I'm aware the rest of them should be safe but erm- we're on board the Delta and they got Omar. He's okay, they did patch him up but he's in the other cell with Aasim"

"On board? Cell?" I looked around and realised that we weren't at the school at all. I stand up and walk to the bars of the door.
