"I'm home!" I announce when I walk in through the front door of my home
"Hey!" Skyler and Jade call from the kitchen
"We're making Mac and cheese right now! Want some?" Jade asks
"For sure! I'm gonna go get down my stuff, I'll be right down"
I run up the stairs, and go straight to the laundry room, dumping out all my clothes in the basket: someone already has their laundry going. I take the suitcase and go set it down under my bed then when I look in the mirror I smile, there's hickies all down my neck.
I go back down stairs, then sit down at the island on a stool, "How was your dad?" Skyler asks and my smile drops
"Well" I laugh a bit "Okay sis I got tea"
They raise an eyebrow at me as I clap my mother fucking hands together, "oh?"
"So basically I show up at my dad's house, and I didn't tell him I was coming. So I knock on the door, and he answers, and his wife comes out.. YES HIS WIFE!"
"WHAT!" Skyler eyes widen and she gasps
"And his fucking kids!"
"Kids?!"
"He had a whole other family" shake my head smiling "My mom and him divorced because he was cheating"
"Oh my god!" Jade gasps "I'm so sorry, are you okay?"
"I actually am" I nod, pursing my lips "I had a friend back home help me through it"
"Oh?"
"Yeah" I smirk
"Woah!" Skyler smirks back "A guy friend?"
"My boyfriend" I bite my lip
"WHAT!" Jade screams
"I KNOW!" I whip out my phone, and show them a picture of me laughing while he kisses my cheek
"Oh! He's a ginger" she laughs
"He said he's liked me since seventh grade!"
"Then why is he just now telling you?" Jade furrows her eyebrows
"Cause he said while I kept chasing Cole, he was chasing me" I bite my lip
"Cute!" Skyler sings, I cover my phone
"Wait a minute!" Jade gasps "Your neck!"
I scream laughing, and they poke around at my neck, "Hickies!" Skyler shrieks "How classy"
"I know" I roll my eyes smiling "Dude I think I have real feelings for him"
"It's been a week" Jade raises her eyebrows
"He's moving out here for me" I admit, and their eyes widen
"Really?!"
"Yeah!"
Me and Skyler jump around but Jade doesn't seem as enthusiastic, "Don't you think your taking things too fast?"
"I've known him since seventh grade" I tell her
"Okay" she shrugs, then goes back to stirring
Ring ring
Ring ring-
"It's him!" I shriek and Skyler squeals, so I shush her then answer, "Hello?"
"Hey baby, how was your flight?" I smile so brightly
"It was good, thanks for asking"
"Of course, I just wanna make sure your safe" my heart melts at his words "I know it's only been a few hours but I miss you"
