"Amanda he's here!"
"I'm cooking!" I shout, laughing "Answer the door!"
I hear Jade and Skyler race to answer the door and I laugh. "Hey! She's in the kitchen"
"Okay thank you" Max replies to Skyler
"Have fun kids!" They race up the stairs then Max says
"Hey baby"
"Hey" I smile, turning around, then he gets out his phone "Babe! No pictures!"
"Come on, you look gorgeous" I turn around smiling as he takes a picture of me in my black dress, apron on, steaming pots in front of me. He puts down his phone then comes up and hugs me from behind "Hey sexy"
"Hi" I laugh, then so does he and he kisses my cheek "I still can't believe your here"
"Me neither" he admits "I can't wait until I graduate and don't have to do this shitty job"
"I'm sorry babe" I frown a bit, he only has to work because of me...
"It's probably about time I got an actually job" he chuckles, going and sitting down at the island "I'm gonna do construction but I'm gonna have a garden too"
"Nice" I nod
"That is when later on if we decide to move in together or I have a place to have a garden"
I smile back at him, "I kinda like the idea of us playing house"
"Yeah me too baby" he laughs "But I wanna get to know your roommates and know who I'm living with. As well as I really like you, and we've been friends for forever, but I don't want to fuck that up by moving in, so I wanna get to know what that would be like"
"I totally feel" I nod "I love living with Jade and Sky cause we're all clean: for the most part. And we're comfortable with each other."
"Yeah" he nods "Let's just wait till he get to that level"
"Okay" I smile down at the food, then the oven goes off, so I pull out eight chickens
"That much?!" He laughs
"I made some for the girls too" I laugh "They wanted to give us time alone but I really wanted you to meet them"
"For sure" he agrees "We can have time alone after"
I look back at him, then start laughing, "Girls! Dinner!"
I hear them wordlessly come down the stairs, I'm sure they've been listening the whole time. They start setting the table, just staring at Max, while he sits on his phone. I bring the potatoes over to the table, as well as pour the gravy into dishes and place them over too, which the corn. It's all in fancy little plates, and set up neat. I'm happy that it's not my turn to do dishes though, because all the crumbs from the chicken are gonna have to be scraped off.
We sit down at the large table, Max by my side, and the girls on the other side. "SO MAX" Skyler claps her hands together and I can't help but laugh
"HELLO?" He does the signature eye widen weird face, with the weird voice he does. He tries to keep a serious face but starts contagiously laughing instead

"HOW... did you and Amanda meet?" She tilts her head to the side, so he does the same, then she tries to turn hers all the way upside down but ends up screaming "OW MY FUCKING NECK!" We all start laughing, then she screams again "HOW DID YOU FUCKING MEET YOU BASTARDS!"
"Middle school!" He laughs, wrapping his arms around me
"Just eat you fuckers!" I shriek
"OKAY OKAY!" Max throws up his hands, then looks at me deep in the eyes as he takes his first bite, causing me to laugh obnoxiously hard, and him to spit out his bite
