I don't know what to do now. I was in an argument with Taehyung. But now he is sitting on the floor with tears streaming down his face and a vacant look in his eyes. I think the person who died must be really close to him. I shake him awake from his trance. He looks up at me with innocent, sad eyes overflowing with tears. I know he is not my responsibility, but I can't just leave him here like this. I think I should take him to that place where the police officer called. I lift him up by his arms and make him sit in my car. I get onto the driver seat and start the car. Taehyung just sits still, staring into the distance. I wonder if he even realises what is going on.
"Taehyung, are you okay?". He doesn't respond. I remember the name he shouted before he collapsed. "Who is Minho?", I ask to bring him out of his shock. His lips tremble and he bursts out crying. "My husband", he says amidst the tears. I feel really sorry to see his condition. I don't know what to say to comfort him. So I just drive faster.
Upon reaching the location I get down the car first and reach the police officer standing there. I tell him Taehyung's name and his relation to Minho. Upon hearing it the officer frowns. "What? Husband? How is this possible? There were 2 people in the car which fell off the cliff. One man and one woman. We have confirmed the identity of the person as Minho from his belongings. We are yet to confirm the other person's identity. But we know that they both were staying together in Hotel Marriot which is 3 kms from here since yesterday, under the name Mr. and Mrs. Lee Minho. They were also holding hands with interlocked fingers in the car during the accident. Due to time spent in extracting them from the wreakage their bodies have frozen and it is impossible to separate their hands. They are also wearing matching wedding bands. So we concluded that they were husband and wife".
Iam shocked to hear it. I remember Taehyung saying that Minho wasn't even in Seoul. But according to this officer Minho hasn't gone out of Seoul. So the only logical conclusion is that, this person Minho was cheating on Taehyung. I can't even believe this bullshit. I turn towards the car to look at him. But I see him walking towards the place where the bodies of the two victims were placed side by side covered in white cloth from head to toe. I walk towards him along with the officer.
The investigator removes the white cloth from the dead male. This must indeed be Minho, as I can tell from the way Taehyung collapses next to his body and carresses his face. "No, Minho. No. This can't be happening. You told me that you would always love me and stay beside me forever. Why are you laying still like this now? Get up and talk to me. This is some kind of sick joke, right? Your Taehyung is right in front of you. Open your eyes and look at me", he cries almost hysterically. I feel my heart clench on seeing his pain on losing his beloved, the one that cheated on him. I think about how to reveal to him about his husband's infidelity.
But my brain freezes at what happens next. The officer takes the cover off of the next body. My world stops and I don't even realise what is happening anymore. Are my eyes deceiving me? Why do I see Boyoung's face there? What the hell? I shake my head and look again. It is Boyoung. My Boyoung. With wide eyes I get closer to the body. It is definitely Boyoung. But why is my brain not processing anything else. I only feel immense pain and shock go through me. It is as if I stepped on a live wire. I fall on my knees beside her. I can feel tears running down my face.
"Bo...Boyoungie?"
Just then the wind blows and the covers are lifted off the body completely. My eyes shift to her hands which are intertwined with that Minho's. Realisation flashes through me. I have been cheated on by my wife. The one who I considered as my whole life. Why did this happen? How did this happen? Iam in a state of stupor. I can't even think anymore.
Third person pov
"Minho, Minho, Minho", Taehyung keeps chanting as if it would bring him back from the dead. He comes out of his daze when he sees Jungkook falling on his knees. Only then does he notice the body of the woman beside Minho. At that time the covers lift because of the wind and his eyes shift to their intertwined hands. He can't understand what this means. He turns to look at Jungkook to ask him if he knows the woman. But Jungkook's face turns scary as his expression changes from hurt and pain to fury in an instant. Jungkook gets up from the ground and rushes towards Taehyung with anger.
"This is all because of you. Your husband has ruined my happy family. Are you happy now? For a moment I felt pity for you. But now I hate to even see your face. Get away from here right now before I do something that I would regret", he picks Tae up by his collar and throws him down again.
Tae stares up at him in confusion and pain. "What do you mean? What did I do? I have just lost my husband. Why are you angry at me?". Tears threaten to overflow again from his eyes.
"Don't you act all innocent in front of me. Your husband was having an affair with my wife. Wow!! How wonderful is that? If not angry, do you think I should praise them for that?", Jungkook spat sarcastically.
Taehyung couldn't comprehend what Jungkook said. He would never believe that his husband had an affair with someone. He looks towards the officer with a questioning look. The officer explains all the evidences to him. Just then he sees the rings on both of their fingers shining brightly in the evening sun. Tae is still unable to process the information that his husband, his Minho cheated on him. He believes this is just a misunderstanding.
The officer gets to know from Jungkook that the woman who died is actually his wife. The verifications are completed and the bodies are loaded into the ambulance. Taehyung gets ino the ambulance mechanically because he is unable to feel any emotion right now. Jungkook refuses to get on in the same ambulance. So the officer tells him to follow the ambulance to the hospital in his car because the bodies will be handed over to respective families after the post mortem.
When the vehicles start moving, a mix of emotions run through the two individuals who had just lost their better halves. Taehyung feels pain for losing Minho, confusion over what really happened, and fear over Jungkook's reaction. He doesn't know what to do. So he calls Jin and tries to explain the situation as well as he can over his sniffles and sobs. On the other hand Jungkook feels betrayal upon being cheated on by his wife, pain for losing Boyoung, and for some reason, unjustifiable anger towards Taehyung. He needs some emotional support right now. So he calls the first person that comes to his mind, Park Jimin.

I know this chapter is sad, and there have been no proper Taekook interactions, but it will definitely get better in the coming chapters.
